Poor border collie is feeling it today, I think she's over done it with the ball thrower and thinking she's a bright young thing. I've ordered a ramp for the boot of the car so she can get in and out easier, she hates being picked up.

A rare day off for us. Haven't really made good use of the time, in fact been a real lazy mare. DS2 has been called back to work and went in on Wednesday, not overly happy about it. We're having a 'soft' opening in that we're open but not taking machines in for repair until we've caught up with the ones on the board from before lockdown. Managed to get a new card machine that means we can keep our distance. People do need to be educated and learn to read the signs and its usually men!
Had to get my car serviced on Friday, that was different. Had my temperature taken on arrival (not helped that it was done by the good looking chap!) then car was sanitised, keys in a keybox and sanitised then when I got the car back it was sanitised again. Passed its MOT so that was good. Got to take DS2s in next Friday not looking forwards to that.
Have been having a chat with my housekeeper who's looking after the cottage and we've agreed to leave 4 days between bookings. I need to provide gloves and masks. Gloves I'm ok masks might be a bit more difficult, need to contact supplier tomorrow.
Other than that its still just packing and parcelling

All sorted on the cottage front for masks and cleaning stuff etc. In exciting news I got the septic tank emptied up there. Such a relief if you pardon the pun as I don't think it had been emptied since it was built. Its played on my mind for a while and thanks to a lady on facebook who organised a tanker to go over from the mainland and get a few of us done.
BT have 'updated' my email account. ITS AWFUL!! Clunky and lost all my contacts, honestly its like going back to dial up. Can't find anything a bit like when they move stuff round at the supermarket.
I have been a numpty. My car came up with an engine service light, so I booked it into a different garage, still a maindealer but used this one because my DS2s car was also going into the garage next door. 2 birds with one stone I thought. So Friday i took DS2s car and DD1 drove mine. Annoyed with DS2 as had to put fuel in it. Dropped his off and then went next door to leave mine because I'd got a courtesy car. Reception had no record of me but thought it could've been a blip. It only turns out it was booked in at the garage I bought it from, an hour away. I didn't have time to take it there. At the moment its booked in at the original garage for Friday. However our chap who works for us is back in and off furlough, he has a computer so he might be able to sort it which would be great. Also part of the numptyness on the way to the garage I got my prescription which I've left in DS2s car which was supposed to be ready today and is now due for collection on Saturday. My tablets run out tomorrow!! AAAgh. Hopefully the docs have sorted me an emergency prescription out. Talk about making life hard work for yourself.
Took the dogs to the beach on Friday night, they had a great time and got fish and chips on the way home. However the night didn't end well as Tip decided she would be an indoor water (vomit) fountain. It wasn't pleasant but at least the carpet got washed, a job off the to do list.
So tomorrow after I've begged the pharmacist for some drugs I'm taking Izzy to the vets to find out how many puppies she's going to have. They'll do a quick x-ray and count the skulls. Its not a definite number as some could be hiding behind each other but will give me an indication, especially after the awful time in January. They're off to the groomers on Saturday. Izzy will just get her tummy and bits shaved so she's ready for whelping. Isla will have the works, can't wait as I think she'll look amazing. Its not the usual person I use.
Work has been busy. Not helped by DD1 being away. She's busy wrapping wool all week so I'll have to do all the online stuff myself.
I have bought some masonry paint for the Skye house. It means I'll have to go to 2 different shops as I couldn't get the quantity I wanted in 1 shop. I've had it on order at the builders merchants up there but theres no sign of them getting any stock. My friend phoned to tell me the prices and it was eye poppingly expensive. So I've costed it out to buy down here and get it hauled up there. The scores on the doors were that even with the cost of sticking it on a pallet I'll save over 100 quid. No brainer. I do think there's a niche market for doing things like that and something we may look into when we move up.
Money news, OH has one more payment on his cc and he will be debt free next month. Still plodding with mine.
Right bored you enough

Sounds like you are getting a lot done. Irritating about the car and the prescription but recoverable from. Cost of shipping sounds high - you could well have found yourself a little business opportunity.Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030
