Well l made it down ok. The last 40 miles were hard going because I was tired. Awful nights sleep, wake from 2-4. Nipped into the town and got most of DD2s jobs done she wanted doing. Couldn’t drop her boots off to be re-soled as the shop was closed for refurbishment. I did have a cheeky pedicure and have sparkly toe nails. I didn’t bother with a manicure as my nails are still sulking from the one I had in September.Going for a nana nap in a minute, just popped the electric blanket on as it’s freezing and I don’t want to put DD2s heating on. Her house gets quite a bit of condensation so I did buy a couple of those mini dehumidifier pot thingies that I’ve put on her window sill. Nearly got a load of washing dry on the line as well.I don’t think her fridge freezer is working as I put a dish of water in the freezer and it’s still a liquid and no sign of any ice crystals forming. It’s massive and will take some moving. DD1 is coming round tonight, we’ll probably have takeaway if they don’t want to go out.My car is in for a service tomorrow, so some jobs to do in city whilst she’s being pampered.LTotal Debt Dec 07 £59875.83 Overdrafts £2900,New Debt Figure ZERO !!!!!!:j 08/06/2013

Glad you arrived safe and sound. Sparkly toe nails sound like just the thing to bring good cheer to February. I might do a DIY pedicure tomorrow - that's the joy of being retired I can spend/waste some time on a Monday painting my toenails 😁2

What a busy time away! I’m home for a rest, left at 4 this morning and got home just after 12. Had to wait for lidls to open, only 10 minutes though. Dogs were exceedingly pleased to see me and are now welded to my side.I did post OH a valentines card a week last Thursday but it’s failed to arrive, annoying and my sisters 60th card didn’t make it to hers but a friends did posted at the same time. The tax money that I messed up has arrived back in the account. I’ll need to sort that tomorrow when I’m not tired.Car has been serviced and needed 2 new tyres but not at the prices they were quoting. Went to our local firm and got 2 all season ones put on, still not much change out of £300!
I’ve stripped 2 rooms of paper at DD1s house. Hopefully she’ll be able to crack on and get the rest done. Did get a quote to have all the rooms papered with lining paper and the ceilings painted, it’s a 2 bed house and not massive £900 plus materials. I thought that was a lot but maybe I’m out of touch. She’d paint the lining paper once it was on.Shortened some curtains that needed hanging on the patio doors I’d fetched from my London visit. We were like 2 medieval ladies sat on kitchen chairs ( she hasn’t got a settee yet) sewing these curtains waiting for the knights to come back with their plunder!
Built DS2s bed which was a feat as the fixings had got lost. Hopefully it will stay in one piece.DS2 didn’t make it home till late Friday night. His flight got messed up. He treated us to a takeaway.DS1 and DGD came for a visit on Saturday, she’s a little terror. Headed straight for the stairs which are off the living room. One of us had to sit on them (not a hardship as no settee) to fend her off. I can’t believe she’s 1 next month. We’ve been invited to her party but doubt we’ll make it due to OH having a limited amount of leave and how far it is. Took her to the park and she had a push on the swings. The work conference and working at head office was ok. My manager wasn’t about as much as I would’ve liked to get some answers I needed and when he was he was working on conference stuff. I did get the go ahead for the next 10 solar installs, looking forward to doing that tomorrow. I have an app on my work phone to see the different sites with solar and it tells me what they’re generating. I’m addicted to it. I did manage to log myself out of it the other day and had to get the solar installer to reset it for me. I felt bereft. I do need to get out more!
Should be doing Friday and Saturday at the b&b depending on bookings. I noticed a few more campers around on my way back.LTotal Debt Dec 07 £59875.83 Overdrafts £2900,New Debt Figure ZERO !!!!!!:j 08/06/2013
