Going north on the 11th for a week, will arrange to meet new boss and get paperwork completed.
DS1 has had a bit of a shock as part of his new job he gets a house. It’s been refurbished and a new kitchen put in. He got an email to say it should be ready on 10th February and was he going over to measure up for carpets and curtains. That’s not going to be cheap!  Told him to just get curtains for their bedroom and babies room and try the charity shops. Said we’d go with him to measure up.
Working an extra day this week. Everyone is off to an event and I’ve been nominated to man the office. Gee thanks!  Did say I don’t normally work Thursday and would it be double time?

Not only am I not going to the event but I was informed I was also manning the phones for the other office as well!! Cheeky monkeys indeed. Anyway all phones will be diverted to my work mobile in the morning.
We were up late this morning, I woke up at 5 and thought oh another hour and then it was 7.30!! Managed to make lunch and a lamb shoulder in the slow cooker before leaving. It was delicious.

We had a lamb shoulder at the weekend - cooked (before the oven door fell off thank goodness!) to the point of melting tenderness and dropping off the bone....yum!
