I know its niche but I quite like sun dried tomatoes with veggie pasta. A year ago I bought them for 60p. Now they are at least £1 higher. Food inflation is scary.

Good news on the glasses and holiday entitlement.

Hope you enjoy the theatre and DH's operation goes well.

Thanks SH. Theatre was good and I hadn’t realised that Joe Absolom was the lead actor.
Currently having lunch in spoons waiting for the phone call to say the pick up is ready. I’ve bought my first Christmas presents to be stashed away and I’ve also got a couple of bits for granddaughter. I won’t tell OH about those as he’s superstitious about tempting fate before she arrives. DS1 and GF are due back off holiday in the early hours, they’ve been enjoying 26 degree heat lucky bug*gers!
I’ve got a phone call scheduled in for tomorrow afternoon, for a potential job in Skye, just a chat but will see what happens.

@lucielle exciting about your looming GC! Reminds me of the joke that if the wise men had been women, they would have turned up on time, with useful presents, and a casserole; and they'd have washed up.  Love Humdinger xx

Looks like I’ve got a job in Skye, starting in June. Do need to have a meeting before then. So that means I’ve got to factor a trip in (shame)!  Had a speedy few days, bought some new tops, in the sale. Managed to bag an M&S one for a fiver, got some new accessories and 2 pairs of jeans half price. It does mean the credit card won’t have a zero balance.
Took DD1 with me to get the dogs hair done and she got some billy bob bargains in the charity shop and some fab outfits for when she starts in the office. It was the pups first time at the groomers and she did very well.
