Went to a joint 60th birthday bash last night.  Lovely location on top of the moors. Unfortunately one of the guests had a seizure and bashed his head on a stone wall when he fell. It did mean calling an ambulance to get him checked out.

I think OH and whichever off spring are around are going to watch the lionesses at the pub.

Tomorrow night I’m going swimming with a friend as my arm is so much better, it should be ok.

Tuesday night we’re meeting them for tapas.

Ouch to having to call an ambulance to a party!

Enjoy the swimming and the tapas.

    Great news on the house.
I bet it was a great atmosphere at the pub tonight for the lionesses.  What an achievement for the team!

Went and measured the bedroom furniture and took the plunge and purchased it with the proviso if it goes wrong I can get my deposit back.  I've also bought an upright freezer.  It was £40 cheaper with Currys but they had no stock.  It was in stock with AO but £40 dearer, however my hairdresser suggest going through Topcashback and I did and guess what I got £40 back and it was in stock!  So those items should be delivered 23rd August.  whilst we were in the city we decided to go to the outdoor market and we had some Indonesian food, it was very nice.

3 of the brood are off on their holibobs on 21 August and OH was going to take them to the airport (along with friends and partners)  DS1 was supposed to organise borrowing his works mini bus but I don't think he's got it sorted so they'll have to get there by them selves.

DS1 won a trophy at the weekend for speed shearing, he won the seniors and his time was 22 seconds!!  It's the local young farmer one this weekend and I wasn't going to go but figured if DS1 won he's off to the next stage and this could potentially be the last one we go to.  TBH its not my thing once you've seen one sheared you've seen them all.  Also as one of the main sponsors we get free entry.  OH likes going and perhaps having one to many sherberts!

Feel dreadful this morning nauseous and woke up with a headache.  The DDs have roped me into to go bikini shopping with them (the worst thing ever that also includes trainer shopping with DS2, thankfully he's old enough to do it himself)  I'm hoping I'll feel better by the end of the day.
