Evening all.
CRAZY -Hope you get a cooker sorted out soon. Bless you Mum for offering and DLB for offering to cook - I'd take her up on that - every day!
(((HUGS))) to all who have been unwell and MR AND MRS CHURCHMOUSe - Happy Anniversary and have a great weekend.
No news on MIL apart from the fact that they have sedated her even more. Apparently, her feet started to move which showed brain activity and they don't want her brain to have to do any work, so they increased the sedation. They'll monitor her until Sunday evening, then take her off the ventilator and take it from there. Still keeping fingers crossed. FIL bearing up well.
Well, I have just had a lovely long bath and think I'll just veg out in front of the TV. Have I Got News For You at 9, then QI at 10. Lovely. I managed to give the house a really good clean AND do my shopping tomorrow so am feeling quite chuffed with myself.
Hope everyone is having a great evening and, once again, thanks for the MIL wishes.

Twink - Sorry, I didn't explain it very well. The cat brought the rabbit in in the middle of the night when we were asleep - the first I knew of it was when it started screaming. If he had just brought it in while we were downstairs, I would have put it back out (just put out a mouse he brought in). I did suggest taking it to the vets this morning but OH said don't be stupid.
I know its horrible, but it is a wild animal and this is the nature of living on a farmSorry for the mix up
We must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment0 -
Hello
I haven't been at all OS this week
Mr tru couldn't be bothered to go to the 'proper' shops, he wanted to buy everything all in one place so we went to Asda. Haven't been there for ages and I grumbled all the way round then nearly fainted at the till. One week's shopping - £81.63
I said 'back to the proper shops next week then' and he said 'yes'Bulletproof0 -
Churchmouse What do you mean nearly
Have a lovely weekend away for your anniversary. I suppose you have the ropes, whips & handcuffs packed already.
Blairweech I don't know if I could have shot the rabbit.I have killed a few snakes in my time, but only because they were poisonous. I wouldn't make a good farm girl I'm afraid. Too soft. Good news with DH. At least their is light at the end of the tunnel.
Ruby Fingers are crossed. Hope she gets in.
Another blue sky day today.Had a really good nights sleep so will have a quick surf before I crack on. Hope you all have a great zzzzzzzz too. Byeeeeeeee
