Hello again
Happy Birthday Ivyleaf
(((Crazychik) (Ive also been known to chuck my dinner if the kids and oh argue at the table, then spend the rest of the evening getting angrier as I get hungrier) Hope you get your cooker sorted asap.
Golf lesson went well today, really need to practise so will be off to the golfing range when the kids go back to school. It was lovely crisp cold and sunny.
OH got up early and keeps bothering me - as a consequence havnt done much today but doesnt matter too much as I have got a lot done over the last week. Need to do some paperwork tonight then ironing tomorrow.
Am aiming for a relaxing weekend, footie practice tomorrow for DS whilst I take dd to large town for shoes and a coat. DS then is at a party tomorrow afternoon so peace and quiet. Early football game on Sunday then will chill the rest of the day. OH will probably keep going on about going out somewhere but the kids are quite happy doing nothing.
Forgot to say earlier that DD's parents evening went really well, she is doing much better at school than I thought and is getting her homework done without moaning and on her own. I just know it will be a completely different matter when DS is there.
Anyway quick tea tonight to prepare - completely rejigged menu plan this week then off to drop son to school disco.
Have a lovely Friday evening.

Hi!
Hurray it's Friday! :j
Hurray it's Half-term! :j :j :j
Sorry I needed to get that out of my system. Another busy day at w*** and we seem to have crammed so much in this term, at least our OFSTED is out of the way.
Not much os here today and it will be a lazy tea of hotdogs and oven chips. DH has gone out for a few drinks with some of the staff from his school and the girls and I are going to have a lazy evening together. DD1 is currently having her sax lesson in the front room and DD2 is watching tv lying on the floor in the morning room.
Hope everyone has had a good day.

Good evening!
Late post for me. Managed to get on very briefly late morning and read a few posts, but then I had to rush out for a quickly arranged hair appointment. It's our wedding anniversary on Sunday and DH has booked an "indulgence break" at a hotel we used to go to frequently a few years ago.:j :jWe'll have an upgraded room, choccies, champagne etc in the room, fluffy bathrobes and a 5 course dinner each night. I can't wait!
:bdaycake: Happy Birthday ivyleaf!!!! Hope you've had lots of lovely pressies, and are enjoying your day:D
(((((((crazychik)))))))) you poor thing! Keeping fingers crossed you get a new oven. If there's any justice someone will list a good one on freecycle and you'll get it;)
AussieLass, can't believe how DGS has grown since you last put up a picture. He's gorgeous, nearly as lovely as my DGSs:rotfl: Obviously nothing like his *ninny*:pBet he enjoyed the crane, that's a monster of a machine. We do actually get blue sky like that in this country too you know, just not too often:rolleyes:
Pen-Pen, in case you don't get on tomorrow, you're going away if I'm not mistaken,
:bdaycake: here's a cake to put in your case!! Hope you have a lovely birthday tomorrow:D
Must get off and get some dinner done. I've made a lovely liver and bacon casserole, so now off to do mash, brussels, carrots and swede to go with it. My absolute favourite:drool:
(((((hugs)))) if you want one,

Hello all,
Did not post yesterday as everything was getting a bit on top of me and did not want to whinge
OHs appointment went...ok. It has confirrmed that there is no permanent damage to his brain, but that recovery is a long and arduous process which could take up to 18 months  . So, seeing doctor on Monday and he will be referred to a psycologist who will be hopefully able to understand and help.
Our cat brought in a rabbit last night. Alive. And then decided to chew it up a bit about 3am - I don't know how many of you have ever heard a rabbit being slightly eaten but it emits an absolutely bloodcurdling scream. Then I came down this morning and the poor thing was still alive!!!!! So, my first job of the day was shooting it. Maybe I should have shot the cat instead??. JOKE - I love our cat to bits even though he is a pain in the !!!!. He is currently sat on the sofa eating tissue paper.
As everything was all too much yday, I am re-reading an extremely motivational book and thinking about what i want in life and then striving to achieve it.We must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment0 -
Evening all,
Just a quick one from me, thanks for all the good wishes re DD's audition, she said it went really well, all the other groups had to go back and do it agan, but her group sailed through, we won't know if she's got in till after h/t so fingers crossed.

Thanks mrs mix:D I meant to say earlier, I'm afraid I couldn't help but smile at your description of the hospital visit:o (only 'cos it went alright). It's amazing the things they want you to do sometimes isn't it? When my dear mum fell about a year before she died, she damaged her coccyx and could barely walk. One nurse said to her * just hop up on the bed please* ( I'm not short but would have needed a step to get up on it!) Mum told her if she could *hop* anywhere she wouldn't need to be there:rotfl:You never get a second chance to make a first impression.0
