Hello everyone,
I'm soooo tired this arvo. DGS took ages to get to sleep last night and I thought for sure he would sleep in this morning. He woke up barely at 5.30am. You couldn't look sideways at him all morning and he couldn't look sideways at me either. He left around 1.30pm and I have done NOTHING but browse a few catologues, watch a soapie & relax. Oh I did bring in and fold the washing. I've re-deemed myself.
DH is working tomorrow I think. DD wants me to dye her hair and I hope to make some bread & butter pickles out of the growing pile of cucumbers.I gave XDIL lettuce, tomato, zucchinni & capsicum today.
The other day on the way to SeaWorld we dropped into see DH so DGS could drive the crane with Poppa. He was in heaven. Here is one of the pics. Hope you all have a lovely day & (((hugs))) to those that aren't.

Morning All
Hope you dont have to wait too long at the hospital Mrs Mix
Enjoy your lodger free days Hester
Yep is freezing here, heating is on at the moment. DD has day off so wont see her for a least a couple of hours, DS has school and has his Halloween disco after.
Need to spend a couple of hours in my office this morning updated the accounts, then plan to deep clean the dining room which I didnt get round to yesterday as I cleaned the oven. Going to clean it again next week as there are a few stubborn marks left & I gave up yesterday. Hope to do loads of ironing tonight and maybe even clear the pile.
Have a golfing lesson at 2pm which I am looking forward to, actually reminded me that I need to practise my 'grip' before I go.
Have a great day.
x
Thanks for the picture AussieLass - forgot what sunshine looked like0 -

Good morning everybody
Cold here in Liverpool this morning. Went to bed around 2.45 this morning and around 3.00 could hear a strange 'trundling' sound outside. Got up for a nosey and there's a couple of 'Huyton scallies' making off with one of the pensioners' wheelie bins! They proceeded around to the rear of my house (some open waste ground where houses have been demolished) and set it alight for a little bonfire to keep themselves warm. This dutiful citizen then proceeded to dail 999 for fire brigade to come and put it out. Within two minutes of fire brigade leaving there were around 6 - 8 of them with ANOTHER wheelie bin. So now I'm thinking is it worth phoning again - or will that result in them taking yet another. Last winter it was taking around 4-6 weeks to replace each bin that disappeared due to so many going missing around hallowe'e/bonfire night. What is it with these kids (12 - 16 years old) - don't they have comfy/warm beds to go home to?
Good luck with the x-rays, Mrs Mix.
Can I come for tea on saturday, N9eav - steak sounds good to me!
Busy lady, Amie - good luck with the comps!
This is it, fingers crossed for the 'fruit bowl'!
Mrs Mcawber - congratulations on the 2 stone gone :j!
Hardup Hester - what time does that lodger of yours decide to sleep? I think I know what I would be doing when she does!
Bobadog - you and your hangover are off to a flying start this morning. Enjoy your red pepper, tomato and chilli soup - sounds very 'warming' :rotfl:!
dlb - sounds like you could have the next Jamie Oliver on your hands there - enjoy his cooking while you can BEFORE he becomes famous!
mioliere - hope the m-i-l shows some signs of improvement soon - must be a very worrying time for you and OH. (((hugs)))
samsampotts - love the sound of your pasta sauce - what kind of condensed soup would that be (chicken? mushroom?) Good luck with your neighbours.
This took me so long that others had posted while I was at it, lol.
finish your Christmas, redruby - good heavens, I've not even started!
great photo Aussie lass - just look at the colour of that sky!
Essex girl - enjoy your golf lesson
Have a good day everybody.
I'll pop back later to see how y'all are doin'!

Redruby It means he was really grouchy and if you looked at him the wrong way he would whinge.
I was the same.
Essex girl That was the first thing I noticed when I got off the plane back to Oz. The sky is so blue here. I'd never really noticed it before. Things you just take for granted I suppose.
Moiliere I agree with what you say about our Twink. We all overlook her odd habits. :rotfl:

Thanks for the good wishes for the hospital I don't mind the waiting I realise that they get busy with the normal appointments and various clinics sending others along to be done the problem I have today is that the moment I get there I will be made to take my trousers off and put on a gown then made to sit and wait for ages with the older generation (no offense intended) making snidey comments about the three tatoos I have on my legs and the way they judge me because of them none of them are horrid they and each one is there for a reason
the first one is a rose and was done in memory of a baby we lost the second is a humming bird done in memory of my step-sister who died in a car crash at the age of 23 the third is a butterfly sitting on a heart in a cloud this was done in memory of my mum
so you can see why this bugs me and unfortunately I'm not known for holding my tongue so if you don't hear from me for a few days it's because I've been locked up for breach of the peace
pam xxI didn't say it was your fault, I said I was going to blame you
I am one of the English sexy Shelias
I'm also a hussy0 -

well done with the wieghtloss Mrs Mc - that's fantastic - bet you feel better for it. I checked my bmi at Mr T the other day and am informed that I am a lb and a half off overwieght - yesterday's twinks took care of that I'm sure.
mrs mix - good luck at the hospital and hugs to anyone else suffering with colds, flus or inconsiderate lodgers
Aussie, please take notice - i have reported you to the national society for the prevention of cruelty to [STRIKE]scottish pests[/STRIKE] twinks
well I'm up and trying to avoid last night's washing up - ddad and I stayed up late last night and he gave me permission to leave it till the morning. We have had an answer already to his pension question so we will be trying to get to the bottom of that this am, then imperial war museum, come back to drop dd off at middle dd and then into tedington for bremner bird and fortune - tea tonight will be something rushed in a pub I should think.
have a good dayI'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 20080 -
