it is to the right of the tills if you approach from instore.
If you get in via the customer returns door you can find a nice employee who will let you in past their til and so you cut out the tiring dander through the rest of the store!:D0 -
Was in (again) yesterday - had to use up my £10 off voucher!
Traffic was queued on the slip road but not the Main road - took about 15 minutes to get a parking space. Spent a long while looking round and bought a few bits and pieces - eyed up a cheap round glass table but sort of decided to leave it to another day. Got to the Bargain corner and there was the same table with £25 off - quick check for damage and dismantled and onto the trolley it went.
Now I need to go back and find some chairs to match! :rolleyes:0 -
thinking of going today - anyone been and can report on the traffic.I used to have a signature with links to the League Tables for good/bad shipping charges for Northern Ireland. But I have since learnt that this is against site rules - so they are no longer here! PM me if you need them0

Radio Ulster were reporting long tailbacks on the Sydenham Bypass again today with the police telling people to avoid the area if possible.0

It was madness today when we were leaving the area at about 14.30
No problems when we arrived this morning at 10.30, I think next time I go I will be there for opening.
Queue in the cafe was about 20 - 25 minutes and around the same for the checkouts.
I put my MSE t-shirt on incase happymummy24-7 was working today but no one said anythinghow sad am I??

ended up going anyway at about 3.30pm, queue tailed back to the end of the slip road but not too bad - took about 10-15 mins to get into the car park (3rd floor multistorey)
Left at 7.30 - by this time i reckon there were about 30 cars on the top floor.
Shop was very busy but queues at tills were tolerable - probably a lot of window shoppers.
strange announcement kept happening on PA system something like "Staff announcement, Code 7 on four colours ???" no idea what this means but it was anounced on 4 separate occasions at least.
further (possibly related ???) the lights went off in various parts of the store a few time - once in the part I was in leaving the shoppers in close to complete darkness.
There was emergency lighting but to be honest i could not see past the end of my noise.I used to have a signature with links to the League Tables for good/bad shipping charges for Northern Ireland. I went to Ikea for the first time last night, arrived about 7pm with no problems on the motorway and parked right up beside the doors.
Was very impressed with the quality, was expecting cheap crap argos flatpack furniture, but it all seemed better quality. I ended up buying a few accessories and a set of drawers for my dd's bedroom. I was heading to the tills when I remembered someone here mentioning bargin corner, where in true MSE style I had a nosy. Well wasnt there a pile of the drawers in there reduced from £39.99 to £27.50, brilliant! There are stickers even telling you what the problems are, for mine it was damaged packaging.
I'll be going back

The one you don't want to here is "This is an IKEA timecheck, the time is..........."
Leave it for yourselves to guess what that's about but used to be much more prevalent in NI.0 -
Yeah I noticed those strange announcements yesterday when I was there. Reminded me of 'will the plumber please go to the basement' in Castlecourt in the early days0
