All the signs on the M2 today said long delays on Sydenham Bypass, it must have been busy in Ikea today, glad I went the other week!

It was!! Took me 45 minutes to get from bottom of Sydenham Bypass (where it joins the M3) to the car park at Ikea  Although the store is so big that it was still easy enough to get around and see everything.

I'll definitely be back but on a quieter day. Only went today as a few of the girls from work wanted to go (they don't drive) and this was the only time we would be able to go together.

I was driving in today about 1.10, took about 5 minutes to get from Tillysburn to a parking space, but once inside it was hectic. The place was packed and people are sometimes just plain ignorant. There was a long queue for the restaurant so we skipped that.

I have to say, some of the bedroom furniture was much better quality than I expected and I'll be back in a couple of weeks once I've planned all I want.
