Cannot wait for your glowing recommendation of how perfect your purchase went and what a brilliant company you run. oops i mean what a brilliant company it is.

No the clock is not free, you seem gullible enough to pay money for it.

Whats it like living over a greasy spoon cafe? Does the smell make you feel hungry or put you off food?

You know what take the clock and put it back where the sun doesn't shine - probably best there.

So does having a large number of replies on here exponentially increase the rudeness, arrogance and moronic level of that individual? Seems to be doing wonders here.

How sad to imply a company or person is linked to a company just because he is asking about a product and disagrees. There is not conclusive data on here of a large sample of people to conclude that there is anything wrong with this new SIM startup company. I have contacted some other users who have signed up over last month on some other sites (since this site has not given me any constructive feedback) and they have confirmed all is good on 3 network. I have no reason to doubt them - could they be linked to the company - who knows - but I doubt it. The website is also very informative.

I really like SMARTY and I joined up with them (2 contracts - but did not PAC across my number until a few weeks later to confirm all was working) when they were just starting with only a handful of reviews so took a gamble with them as some reviews were saying no SIM received and others saying no reception or not working at all. I took this as just no patience reviewers or just some teething problems of new company.

So the only way you can positively say is a fraud etc is if you have ordered and nothing came of it. Or we had a good sample of people on here confirming that to be the case and other sites. Or why not contact 3 network and ask for public information request if they do actually provide service for 'CTRL mobile'?

Seriously that is best you can come up with because the start up registered above cafe establishment? How pathetic. Who knows, maybe the person is just not business savvy, has little experience with setting companies up but knows IT and telecoms well. Amazon was set up in a basement! It costs about £50 a month and you can be registered in a swanky location in the heart of Canary Wharf financial centre in London. If I was setting the company up that is what I would have done, maybe the director never thought about that or cares or maybe they will in the future.

I have ordered one now so will see how it goes and will do full review - regardless of outcome.

So if all is working, tell me what evidence you would like - pictures, email confirmation? You name it? Hell just because your an unhelpful and arrogant clown, if is ok I will send a SIM of £5 for anyone else one these forums (someone else who has been on here and can confirm after they have) and then you can pay me back. How is that? Put your money where your mouth is!:money:

On the flip side, if I am wrong I will report back that I am wrong. I doubt it.

Joining a new company and giving them a go is one thing. I too have been with Smarty since the beginning of last September. But Ctrl Mobile is the latest incarnation of a string of failures which is a very different kettle of fish.

When someone registers their company with the wrong address it looks dodgy.

When someone cannot be bothered to spell check their website you have to wonder how professional they are.

And when a new poster named after a scam joins specifically to shill it ... ;)

So despite silly, none factual claims, just because a company has maybe moved address (not updated with companies house - can be in process or just forgot as early company teething problems) or has an apostrophe missing on their website (I am not here to read a Charles Dickens novel) are hardly proof of fraud.

Also, at no point did I credit them or recommend to 'shill'. I was here to find more views as was hardly conclusive of the new company based on just 1 or 2 people not receiving a SIM by CTRL Mobile, to imply that was a scam - that was never confirmed. Plus these were many months ago. Hope was that they had their act together now.

Short story is SIM received in 2 days of order and works great. However, there is a change in a new problem, nothing to do with service, but change in their new plans they have just updated in last day or two and why I will not be renewing. That is unless their original plans come back but have elaborated more in my review. For now not reliable.

My full review under Mobile section is called 'CTRL Mobile REVIEW' , if searched. Or here - https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/74610357#Comment_74610357

    Sorry.

Search for a similar deal by another SIM only provider and I will be interested, as will others.

  • Ha, paranoia here is funny.

I can understand early caution before. Never knew them as well but saw discussion on 'kenstechchips' SIM only website and was cheap so thought give it try. I paid just £2.50 for the month.

Ordered and confirmed , working all good. The £5 deal now is 500mb data and unlim calls plus unlim texts. Same no contract which works good for me as got wifi at work/home. So plan getting kids on them as well.

Is three network.Works great my area and most areas, so check covers your area.

The £5 deal is half price, now £2.50 for 1st month. Then goes to £5 onwards per month after if you want keep the and choose the pack again.
  • oh..you can use my referral. I get £5 and you get 60% of first month plan.

    Exactly.

They have their £5 deal back now which is best deal out there for unlimited calls/texts and data. Especially with no contract. Been using for nearly 1 month and all has been perfect with no problems at all and will be continuing that pack for my spare mobile for future. Also recommended to a old relative who does not want a contract , wanted cheap monthly option and uses little data but just makes a lot of calls.

Also, their company accounts have been updated. New registered address and update not to strike off after filing. People here are far to early to jump to wrong conclusion without a strong number of client feedbacks or confirming with networks or trying themselves. They probably had early company teething problems or maybe issues with Three receiving SIMs etc but seems now all is good.
