I wouldn't be amazed if instead you get a new promise of a refund in 7-12 days.
(to get another promise)
Anyway, bank refunded the money, it is down to the bank to get it of HIM, due to me being bit of ((door) bell) and "biting the bait"
Hope they'll deal with him accordingly :mad:0 -
Has anyone else tried signing up - considering previous poster could just have been unlucky receiving.
Have read other posts on other sites of people ordering and all been ok receiving SIM but no mention if they received service or how reliable etc. Any new updates would be useful.
I was thinking of this one for my second (spare) mobile as would be ideal, no contract and monthly deal of £5 for 1 GB data, unl calls, unl texts.'Wall Street is the only place that people ride to in a Rolls Royce to get advice from those who take the subway'

Given Ctrl Mobile's antecedents, I'd stay well clear, both Plusnet and Smarty have similar deals for a pound or two extra, why take the risk?0

I have a bridge and a big clock for sale, would you be interested in buying those also?

If you're really stupid enough to buy one of their sims, make sure you do it before September 3rd - that's when the company is due to be struck off.
Otherwise you'll never get to experience the joys of being a CTRL Mobile customer.
The good news is that they've moved their office - they're no longer above a bookies. They're above a greasy spoon caff now.0 -

Yep have Smarty and I like the discount back on data. I use in my main phone. However, for my spare mobile that use for occasional business Smarty do not like it calling lots of different numbers and texts (even if volume is low just lots of different numbers) so they froze account. This network does not seem to operate like that from what I have read - you have the calls and texts to use how you like (says unlimited but that is 5000 calls and 5000 texts - certainly far more than I need). Now just have main one with Smarty. Plusnet not as good options, does not seem as flexible to change each month and contract notice.forgotmyname wrote: »Seriously??

No need for the bridge but I will take the clock if it is free?stragglebod wrote: »If you're really stupid enough to buy one of their sims, make sure you do it before September 3rd - that's when the company is due to be struck off.

Just because states due to be struck off does not mean much. Many new companies or those late filing will get notice and just submit and is fine. Happens all the time. There has not been much recent feedback here and early orders (just 1 on this site) could have been one off or company start up teething problems. That is many months ago.
I'm going to order the £5 deal and if all good for that month will upgrade to the 2GB and unlimited calls/texts for £6 following month. I am not looking at PACing any numbers across so can see how it goes month to month. If it delivers (there has been many recent reviews have seen now stating all been good) then will continue as not contract and feel CTRL mobile could have good potential.
I will review in few days.'Wall Street is the only place that people ride to in a Rolls Royce to get advice from those who take the subway'

Cannot wait for your glowing recommendation of how perfect your purchase went and what a brilliant company you run. oops i mean what a brilliant company it is.
No the clock is not free, you seem gullible enough to pay money for it.
Whats it like living over a greasy spoon cafe? Does the smell make you feel hungry or put you off food?Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Seems they do not know their own address and postcode. Address given to companies house is not correct. (emailed a complaint to companies house)
