Has anyone heard of CTRL mobile, pronounced 'Control Mobile'?

the website is ctrlmobile

They use the Three signal, apparently.

Their allowances seem very high for the price. I can't find any reviews or comments on the internet about it, but it was advertised on the radio today. Anyone use it?

They're registered office appears to be a flat above a William Hill bookies, and they've never filed any accounts in the 10 months since the company was formed.

What do you think will happen once you've paid them?

James' avatar on the support pages is a picture that belongs to a random guy in the Czech Republic called Radek Malecek.

The SIMs are basically PAYG and payment is by credit card, so maximum loss is £25 with the potential to do a chargeback if the SIM doesn't arrive or service stops half way through a month.

I believe there are other networks with similar clauses. (possibly three IIRC)

Not willing to risk £25 (or £10 in my case), but your findings are concerning, to say the least.

However, IF it works, wouldn't like to miss out on a good deal for data, be it it will last, as long as it will;)

(for a start-up) wouldn't be bad, as no complaints against it (IP) are registered yet

So he's gone and managed to secure couple of major network contracts... is it all possible?
could it be, that they (VodaFooneys and Three this time round) did not check credentials, before having business contracts in place?

...or could it be, that someone is trying some new approach to create new network- model... not very successfully first time round?

My major concern is- returns to the Companies House not submitted- OVERDUE, whilst other trading name is almost the same date registered and he is of ability to have banking payment processing via website already

Also, that avatar issue as @SnowTiger points out indicates actual "identity crisis"?

ah well, 4 more days to wait to find out for sure, if I am alone, THAT much gullible alone :o

It's possible that you've gambled and lost which is funny because he appears to live above a bookies... :o

Perhaps 'funny' isn't the right word.
