I've just finished a book I've been reading for the past few days. First one I've picked up in months. Thoroughly enjoyed it. I think I might be ready for Becoming now 🙂. Thank you for the inspiration.Mortgage at 12/07/2022 = £175,000

Lovely to have family to lodge with, rents in London and SE are prohibitively expensive, takes a massive chunk of young peoples salaries when they're trying to get started. Does she really need a month's deposit though? Perhaps she'd accept a week or two instead?

GAP - glad you are inspired.
Well I've completed my phased return hours this week. The truth is it has been agony and where the swelling in my leg had gone down while I'd been off and receiving physio - yesterday it had swollen right back up. I saw the physio yesterday and she agreed that I was back to square one with the swelling. She said she was going to write to my gp to suggest they do some addiitional tests. She said my doctor should get the letter on Monday. I was in agony last night and cried my eyes out after the session. I've booked a GP appointment for this morning to see if she will refer me for the extra tests in advance of the letter and to understand what that process will be. I've reached that point where I can't cope with this level of pain - and if they say the tests could be weeks away I may look at paying privately. Before Christmas I was able to walk the dog, drive as far as I wanted - I had some pain - but not like this. The only ray of sunshine is that my boss has said I can work mostly from home next week - and if I got into the office at all next week it would be for one meeting. I will see what my GP says and report back later.

Hi SH, when you are working from home are you able to re-arrange your environment so that you can maximise the amount of time your leg is resting and perhaps dial-in/skype to the meeting next week? Would swimming help? Hope that you get answers soon.4

Sorry you're in so much pain, hope your GP gave you some answers and can help move the process on. As you know my DH had an awfully long period of chronic pain with his knee so I have every sympathy for how much agony you'll be in. Swimming definitely helped him ease the pain temporarily x2
