It is lovely knowing that the CCs are all on the way out. Went further into EF than planned this month - but DS owes me £93. I took pity on him though as his OD is charging 50% and said he could wait to pay until he got his Oz £ in his bank account.

Another productive day today - I was in the zone. It really helps. Trying to maximise my hours while my brain is cooperating!! DD only had one lesson today and seems to be catching up on her assignments. She's off next week and really happy about it. DS seems to have a little more work this month and another potential client has been in touch so that may offer some further £ for him. DH had to go into work today - took my car for a run - came home and pretty much went to bed shattered... His sleep is all over the place.

Thanks MF. Well we had a takeaway for tea - used cash we still had from xmas. I think we were all feeling locked up for some reason - and wanted something to lighten the mood!! I let DD use a 12 shaver comb - on the bottom inch of my hair at the back as it was doing my head in!! She then neatened it off with scissors. Not up to hairdresser standards but feels better than it did.

Payday is next Monday. I've had my payslip already. Trying to hold onto the good. My sis shared some lovely videos of her little ones playing on trikes and bikes and making dinosaur pictures. Nice to have that window into normality despite feeling stuck inside!

I just got my 7th 5 star review for my book on Am**** which is really positive and encouraging. I'm going to try and write a little more tonight. I've been reading again which always helps fire my creativity.

DH and I walked the dog. It was bitterly cold and the grass was frozen. I've also written another 759 words... It all helps. Today my profile has picked up again on Am**** with people reading more which helped give me the boost needed to write...

Some treats and perks are needed.
DD just needs time and practice, she will master cutting your hair.
Try and use all available means to maintain contact with family, as much as using VC is hard after being stuck on it for your job, it's the best means at the moment.

I'm enjoying reading how you're tackling the debts and how quickly they're coming down.

Well done for writing more, it's a great escape from the world.

DD and I are about to go and walk the dog around a gorgeous park nearby. Looking forward to that. According to a photo of DS's the lake was semi-frozen yesterday. I took half a day off today as I'm shattered. Our smoke alarm kept going off last night waking me. We're buying new ones - of the wired in kind - as it turns out they only last 10 years and are out of date. £93 later.... 

Today I made it to the top 103 in a category on Am**** very exciting. Tomorrow my book goes free for 3 days so hoping to get more downloads then. I've had a recommendation of someone affordable to do my paperback cover design so hoping to progress that over the next few days too. With finishing work early, I am also hoping to spend more time writing tonight. I've also put in the form to buy 10 days extra holiday from April - my reward for clearing down our debts...

Fingers crossed for the promotional weekend.
We've wired smoke alarms and a heat alarm in the kitchen.
Which scared us witless when they went off one night as the backup batteries needed replacing...
Never occurred to us that they'd also have batteries!
