I don't know how you cope on 15 degrees! Ours is generally set to come on if it's under 18 degrees during the day. I do sit there with a hot water bottle rather than putting the heating on though. I got some nice warm slippers for Christmas which make a huge difference.
Congrats on the book reviews though"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee2 -
Thanks Jwil... I'm going to be setting my book to free from roughly 8am uk 12-14/2. I think that means it should finish at 8am on the 15/2 but not totally sure. May see if I can do it as a sponsored product at the same time to maximise take up. I read one guy who said he could tell his income in 3 months time by how many books he gave away free now... Hoping it works out!!Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Thanks jwil. I sold some more books to people at work which is encouraging.
In other news £co paid me £1.80 and DH £30 this month. It all helps. I am using to reduce £ drawn from EFAchieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Worked a short day today. Took DS so he could put £ in the bank, pick up meds and go to butchers. One way of getting him to spend some of his £ on meat. It will take up to 6 weeks to cash an Oz check from the government. Unbelievable!! When it clears he should get around £300. They charged him tax on his national insurance type refund - so now he needs to try and get that tax back as well as his original accrued tax payments... I fuelled up while I was out so that was £50 gone.
I've just had a product recall from Am**** on 3 extension cables I bought - serious risk of fire!! Scary stuff. So need to trace them all - I used one and DH used one but not sure where third one is. Should then get close to £60 back. It didn't charge well / quickly so only got one thing plugged in on mine... (still). Need to find alternatives to replace it with! Am**** sent me something in the wrong size yesterday and I had to return it (their error).
Just put heating on. Definitely frozen now - even with hoodie and blanket on - so time LOL!!!

In this day and age it shouldn't take 6 weeks.
At least the recall has happened before anything else has, hope you find the others soon and the refund is dealt with quickly.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.5 -
Scary about the extension leads. I hope you find them and get a refund soon."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee3
