  • I'm guessing there may be no point working out an hourly rate for DS, due to how he prices his work? However, if it is a possibility, then do the psychological side and say "you have to work for X time to buy that £5 coffee" and "X coffees a month = X and amounts to Y a year". That's what stopped me in my tracks.

Your exerciser sounds great and being close can quickly switch to using it. That and your walks (well done for sneaking one in!) all help your mind and body.

  • Hope DH diabetes gets back under control and well done on your eating habits, that sounds odd but better than saying diet because it's a change in eating habits that will be beneficial. Oh you know what I mean!!!!

I'm definitely going to teach the kids everything I can about finances and share the info on hear, it's one of the most important things that I was never taught as a kid even though my Mum has always been really good with money. My biological Dad thought and still thinks money replaces emotional support and being a Father, he's recently ripped off my brother and so frustrating that my brother continues to have a relationship with him. Anyway enough of that.

Hope you have a good day, H x

That's an amazing result on the card, well done!

What exerciser did you get?  I keep looking at them but then can't make up my mind which ones are any good.

I had to re-read the current balance a few times just to make sure my eyes weren't playing tricks! Wow, an absolutely phenomenal reduction SH, if that's got to spur you on next payday budget and beyond.

Fantastic result on the CC debt Savings.  You should be really proud your efforts have come to fruition.  I would suggest celebrating, but that might undo all the great work!
