Or perhaps it is hinting at using the TEC in the same way as councils do - a key strategy for British Parking since 2012.

Also the quid pro quo for "behaving" is likely to be an attempt to introduce "Keeper Liability" throughout the UK with Peter Wishart MSP leading the charge.

    It's all window dressing.

Yes, his Trojan horse bill is likely to bring keeper liability to Scotland if not stopped.

NI seems like a lost cause when an elected official has his vehicle clamped on private land and the biggest point of contention is the fact he took bolt cutters to it.

Thanks Castle. Perhaps I should add that politicians are all a bunch of money grabbing shysters that make the PPC's look like amateurs.

  • The parking code of practice bill returns to Parliament today for its Committee Stage at 11.30am.

This is where MPs look at the Bill in detail and can amend it

Looking at the bill documentation on the Parliament website it also looks like the Scottish Parliament are happy for the bill to cover Scotland

I fear that this will crash and burn if St. Theresa loses a vote of confidence and the Bearded Commie becomes PM.

Just watched - sounds promising. Stephen Doughty MP did a good job on residential, roboclaims solicitors, hospitals and PE!

Looks to have very broad support, so providing the rabid dogs of Brexit don't savage the Maybot too much, it ought to be on the statute books soon.

Good to see that Gladstones/IPC was highlighted and
clearly they are thought of as a scam.

BWLegal were highlighted as was the burden on
    the courts system and CCJ's

There was also mention of the Justice Secretary
    and the SRA.
Considering complaints have been made about the legals
above to the SRA, to no avail, could the SRA be left
with egg on their faces for ignoring something that was
    and is so blatantly obvious

Until the bill is law, we can expect to see a high
level of activity from the two legals above whilst
they attempt to extort money from motorists
