  • It's FBs fault,I was on there jut now and saw another one for 99p that looked really good but I managed to keep scrolling :rotfl:

I used to spend loads based on fb. x

  • Ahem :o

I've just bought two of them. :o

I find the library app doesn't work on Kindle either. I've only ever got one book to download which is a shame as it would save me some cash (that I could then spend on more expensive books ;) ).
I suppose if I'm going to buy books 99p is an excellent deal :)

It's only the books that tempt me luckily

  • Well I'm up and ready for work, I really didn't want to get out of my bed this morning despite having a three hour lie in,it was so warm and cosy I could have stayed there for another couple of hours at least
I've just got to take the dog out and wash the dishes,I don't have to leave until 11 so can take my time this morning
It's a really miserable grey day out there today and I am sitting here with the lights on,I hate it when it's like this,I would much rather have cold bright and frosty days
Hopefully work won't be too manic,I might have a clinic this afternoon so I'm not sure where I will be yet,I'm sort of hoping there isn't one because last weeks was crazy and I haven't got the energy for that today

  • Well today turned out to be a good day,it was busy and I did have a clinic but it went ok and wasn't too stressy
The good news of today was that I was awarded an extordinary peoples award for long service to my trust, everyone gets one of these once they have been employed for 25 years or more,I've been there for 26 years now, you get a lovely certificate and wait for it..........a £100 gift card to spend in Debenhams :j:j:j it's such good timing because I'm going to Bristol on Saturday so I might be able to treat myself,I really want to spend it on something I can keep so I'm thinking of buying a watch with it,I don't have a watch as I tend to use my phone but it would be nice to have one,I'm not sure yet though but I can't think of anything else to spend it on,if I don't see anything I like at the weekend I will bring it home and save it until I decided what to do with it

It really cheered me up today and it was definitely worth going into work for :D

Great news about the long-service award, well done!

It may be worth biding your time a little unless there's something you really fall for. I'm just thinking the January sales are not that far away, though judging by the shops in the city today, there are quite a few sales on already.
