Honestly, bodies......they're a damn nuisance, aren't they?!
F xAre you allowed to use ibuprofen gel? The doctor has just told me not to take ibuprufen tablets (dodgy stomach) but the gel is okay. I like it apart from the effect it has on the inside of your trousers if you put them on too soon. I must admit I like the gel as it works very quickly BUT it wears off a little quicker than the tablets. I am also not sure how much of the effect is the gel & how much is the massaging is.He moved me around quite a bit so at the moment I am not sure which bit of me between my waist & my shin actually hurts the most. But he really listened & asked & I can't believe I was in there for almost half an hour. MRI next on the agenda & he said it shouldn't be long either.Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1201 -
Not a lot has happened today as I thought I had better take it easy after yesterday's exertion. I did do some washing which is now on the clothes horse because although it was sunny today it did keep raining on and off.
I did read some of my latest book which everyone was raving about, it's good but cheesy and I only paid 99p for so I'm happy. It's called The Change but I don't know the author because it's on my kindle and I can't look 😀
Tomorrow I'm visiting my mum and dad, I couldn't go last week because of having Covid in the house. I am hoping to take B with me so she doesn't have to be at home on her own, she has got better about being at home on her own but I still like to spend as much time with her as I can plus mum and dad like to see her too 😊
edited to ask
what is going on with the weather,it was so mild here today I was wandering round in just my T-shirt and no jumper. It's cold outside now but still mild enough in the house to not have any heating on, I'm just sat here in my pjs that have a T-shirt top and I had my windows open all morningOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1202 -

We had a nice visit with family, it's normally very stressful but wasn't too bad this time. I'm finding my mum a bit frustrating at the moment but have made peace with it and decided to let her get on with it, she never listens to me anyway so I don't know why I worry 😀Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1202 -

I spent most of yesterday visiting my mum and dad,it's takes half the day to get there and back on the buses nowadays. They enjoyed seeing B and I took caramel custard doughnuts to have with coffee. I used to meet mum for coffee but since dad became ill and now can't be left on his own we don't go anymore.
Mum has arthritis too and osteopenia which is the level of bone density before osteoporosis and she recently had a scan which showed her bones are very thin.
Yesterday she told me she has stopped taking her prescription calcium and instead has been out and bought some over the counter calcium tablets. I am so frustrated because I suspect she is taking both so I told her not to do that, she says she isn't and is only taking the over the counter ones as the ones the doctor gave her aren't doing anything. I told her she wouldn't know whether they were working or not, they won't make her feel any different but they will be strengthening her bones and that she should go back to the prescribed tablets. I don't think she will though 😡it's so frustrating that she won't listen but I spent last night fuming and worrying about it and then today I decided to basically stay out of it, she is a grown woman and I can't stop her from making these decisions so I'm just going to leave her to it but if she falls down and breaks something I'm not picking up the pieces 😡 and that's all I have to say on the matter.
Today I have been at home all day, I got all my towels washed and partly dried on the line and I had a quick tidy round but that's all I got up to. I sat down and finished my book which was quite good but a bit far fetched. I made bolognese for tea but then didn't want it so that's gone in the freezer and I had my last egg from my hens on toast instead . There won't be anymore eggs now because the hen I still have doesn't lay, I now have to decide if I want to buy eggs or try and live without, I did try once before and it was really hard with regards to baking and then I do eat eggs in food I buy when I'm out so what's the difference really, I still eat cheese and that's an animal product 🤷♀️I'm not vegan and think I would struggle with it to be honest, I will have a think.
Tomorrow I am going to Dunelm for my long awaited mooch around that I missed the last time I was out that way. DD wants to go and pick up some bits for herself and I am going to buy a couple more tea towels and hopefully a new pillow. I have been waking up with a very painful neck and I've become aware that my pillow isn't supporting my neck so I need to find a better one 😊Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1201 -
Parents can be exasperating can't they. Does she not get free prescriptions? If so why pay for over the counter?
