Well that's Christmas done for another year and I have to say I'm quite relieved. I was so busy I think I just burned myself out 😟
I worked Christmas Day so did get home until 2.30, there was just me and DD2 for dinner so that was nice. We had a nice time but I wasn't feeling too good by the evening so that spoiled it a bit
Boxing day was spent with DD 1 and the family, it was lovely to see the grandchildren for the first time since September, they were very excited and very entertaining 😀 by the time they left I was feeling quite rough so ended up in bed ( just in case you are wondering I did suggest we cancel but my DD said no so I did try 🤷♀️) I did do a LFT which came back negative so I'm presuming it was a cold and not the new variant
Monday was spent lounging around like a dying swan with bird flu and a dodgy leg. I went to bed and had the most horrendous night with what felt like a fever ,I couldn't get out of bed to check my temp so I don't know if it was a temperature or not,I spent the night with the window wide open tossing and turning
Woke up on Tuesday and felt like I had completely turned a corner, it was so weird and such a quick turn around. I am now just feeling tired and have a headache but the rest of my symptoms seem to have gone 🎉🎉🎉
Im actually on holiday this week which was very lucky because I would have ended up being off sick on Monday 🙀 I don't go back to work until the 4th so now have a nice break and although in my head I'm planning to do lots of things I'm not actually doing any of them. I think today I will just do a few bits in between resting on the settee. My chest has been really bad again so I'm going to try to take it easy for a bit to give myself time to recover properly
I got a really good book for one of my Christmas presents so I'm reading that at the moment. I picked it up the other night when I couldn't sleep and ended up reading five chapters 😀
I also got some bits for my dolls house so I'm going to sort that out this week. I'm bringing it back downstairs now the Ikea kitchen has gone. I think I will do more to it if it's in the living room rather than my bedroom. I also have plans for revamping my bedroom which needs better storage. I am eyeing up the Kallax units from Ikea but with the doors on so I can hide all my craft stash in one place. At the moment it's all in two chests which will go and a desk which will go, I want to streamline my room so it's not cluttered at all. I looked on Pinterest and have lots of ideas to make it look good 😀Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1204 -

What a pity you were feeling so rough over Christmas. You’re plans for the bedroom and having the dolls house downstairs sound very good. It makes sense to have your dolls house where you can see it and work on it 👍January spends - £587.582

Another here glad to see you posting. Sorry to hear that you were poorly over Christmas but I hope seeing the GKs made up for it!😀
You've some nice plans for the bedroom - there's nothing like an uncluttered bedroom - mine tends to end up a bit of a dumping ground for things as my storage is so tight. That's one thing I want to address when I move next year! Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟
