You sound as if your shorter hours will be good for you. I hope you get your two Sundays a month.
You should give regular meter readings yourself to make sure you're paying enough. They're predicting you will use lots of fuel in the winter and they're starting to charge you for it now.
Awwww thanks Hairy,I do sometimes worry that I waffle on about the chickens when people aren't really interested
The shorter hours will definitely benefit me so hopefully the shifts will work out
I am such an idiot when it comes to my gas and electricity,I got into trouble with my fuel near the beginning of this diary and ended up owing money because I never bothered to read the meters,I vowed then and wrote on here that I would read them monthly and update the supplier but I haven't done it:mad: I'm mad at myself for not keeping on with it and I'm going to make sure I read them from now onOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1201 -

My Sc payment went out today so I have updated my signature £16,190 this is almost the same amount as my mortgage  I only have a small mortgage because my house is a shared ownership house,so I only own half of it,the other half belongs to a housing association,£5,000 of the mortgage is a consolidation loan that I took out the last time I was in debt,I didn't learn my lesson though and regret doing that loan,if only I had found this website then
I'm also recording my shopping spends as I do them so today's is
£16.88 in Mr T
I bought Mr T own brand wholemeal bred today for 55p:eek:I normally spend £1.10 in Mr S on Hovis or Nimble if I'm dieting,my soya milk was the same price as Mr S but my yogurts were 30p cheaper and I think the marge was cheaper too,if I have time over the weekend I am going to do a comparison on my shop,I am still going to check out Mr M but didn't have time today
Now I'm off to bed because I have work tomorrow so have to be up at 5.15 :eek:Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1201 -

Food is one of the few areas that is completely under your control, so is a good area to save money. I would expect Mr M will be cheaper than Mr S, but always worth comparing everything you buy. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

I send in my energy meter readings every month on my big budget day..I find that helps me remember it, as it's a money related thing.2025's challenges: 1) To fill our 10 Savings Pots to their healthiest level ever
2) To read 100 books (36/100) 3) The Shrinking of Foxgloves 7.7kg/30kg

Hmmmm,I might have a problem looming, my dog is acting weird this evening so I'm not sure if she is ill, she is a very sensitive and anxious little soul so I can't tell if she is sick or just feeling upset,we have had lots of change recently and she doesn't like change,DDs boyfriend left and she was incredibly attached to him so it could be that,DDs routine has changed slightly so that could be upsetting her,she is normally allowed to sleep on DDs bed but hasn't been allowed this week because she keeps disturbing DD so it could be that
When I came home tonight she came over to say hello but was subdued, she is normally quite excited when I come home and grabs a slipper or a toy to say hello but she didn't do that tonight, she is skulking round like she has been shouted at,she gets very upset if you raise your voice in any way even if your just excited about something ,DD said she has been weird all afternoon,I called her over to the settee and she was shaking like a leaf, there have been fireworks going off but she has never been bothered by them in the past,I hope she isn't sick
I'm letting her sleep in my room tonight so I can keep an eye on her and if she is still not right in the morning I will have to take her to the vet, this could prove costlyOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1201
