He went for a nap at 8.45 and didn't wake up until 12.30 ,I fell asleep on the sofa while he was in bed so I had a two hour nap while he was asleep:j
I had to pop into town though today because I needed some food shopping,so I wrapped him up in the buggy and walked into town,I gave him some calpol before I left and it obviously worked because he was quite perky while I was out,I paid the money my mum gave me into the bank while I was there as well
I fancied a curry for tea so I made that this afternoon and have enough left for the next three days,I will take some to work for tomorrow ,I also bought satsumas yesterday and have eaten four so far ,I can feel my body sucking up all the vitamin c:rotfl:
I really need to sort out my diet and eat more fruit and veg so I have satsumas and bananas,I've been eating pears but have run out now so will have to get some more
Me and DD have been watching Great British Bake Off and each week we have something yummy to eat that roughly ties in with the weeks theme, this week was pattisserie but because DD is vegan and most patisserie contains cream I couldn't find anything so we had cinnamon rolls, they were very yummy but my tummy is starting to expand so I've said that after next weeks final I'm going back on my diet,I'm 7lbs over my goal weight that I reached earlier in the year so I need to get back to goal before Xmas, I follow SW but I'm not going to classes as I don't have the time or the money at the moment,I have all my books though so will get them out and get on with it
I've started walking again over the last week,I did five 30 minute walks last week and I walked into town today so another 30 minutes,I'm going to go back to walking into town to get my bus after work now too,it's a 25 minute walk three days a week so it all adds up
I've got work tomorrow so will be off to bed in a bit,I'm not tired though so I don't know if I will sleep,I slept like a log last night though,I'm probably going to be looking after DGS again on Thursday this week because he should be going to nursery but if he's not well he can't go,I was planning a day at home anyway so it doesn't matter, poor little man I hope he gets better soon,I hate seeing him ill
I hope DGS feels better soon.
Well done on all your walks, I always sleep much better after a walk (unless I overdo it and my feet are throbbing!) and it's good for relieving my stress and anxiety too. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Thanks Hairy,it was such a lovely day as well so I didn't want to be cooped up on the bus when I could be out in the fresh air,I think it did DGS good too:)Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1201 -
Am also starting to 'expand', OBL, because I've been so far out of my routines lately. Yesterday when mr f met me off my train, I was all for getting the bus (or even a taxi!!) home, but after popping into the nearest supermarket for a coffee & a banana, we walked the couple of miles home & I didn't even moan. It was sunny & I enjoyed it. Saved a bit of cash & I agree that walking helps reduce stress levels x2025's challenges: 1) To fill our 10 Savings Pots to their healthiest level ever
2) To read 100 books (36/100) 3) The Shrinking of Foxgloves 6.8kg/30kg

When the sun is shining it's the best way to get around,it's the final of Bake Off next Tuesday so I'm getting back on plan then,I need to be at my goal weight by Xmas or I'll end up back where I started :eek:Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1201 -
I've had a very productive and busy day today.i got up early because DGS was coming for the day as he is still poorly so can't go to nursery
He arrived at 7.30 and had breakfast we played for a bit then at 9 he was getting grumpy and hot so it was calpol time and off for a nap,he didn't wake up until 12.30:eek:
While he was in bed I peggged some washing out cleaned the kitchen and did my banking:A
We had lunch then I had to go into town yet again,I was going to walk but it was quite chilly here today so I wrapped DGS up in his cosy toes in the buggy and we caught the bus ,I did my bits in town and bought the ingredients to make gnocchi bake for when my curry runs out the it was home again on the bus
DGS was tired again by now so went for another nap for an hour and a half and while he was asleep I managed to hoover the house, polish the living room and clean the bathroom then it was time for DGS tea so we did that and then sat on the settee for cuddles while we waited for his mum to come and pick him up,I can tell he is poorly because he doesn't sit and cuddle normally,he is a very active and busy little man usually
After he want home I had my tea, took the dog out had a shower and collapsed on the sofa with a cup of tea
I missed out on my walk today but I haven't really sat down and I did walk home from work to town last night so got a 30 minute walk in then,I will walk home again tomorrow
It's payday tomorrow so I can start a new budget for the month,I'm a bit worried because I only had one Sunday and I'm not sure how much I will get paid but I will just have to work wi5h what I've got this month
I still haven't spoken to my boss about my hours but will do it tomorrow if they are aroundOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1201 -
I hope you get enough money this payday and you can get your hours back up at work. Poor DGS hope he feels better soon. Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Thanks Hairy,my reduced hours are on an three month trial which runs out on Saturday,so really they should ask me what I want to do,but knowing my management like I do they will just leave it and I will have to ask to put them back up,they will try and talk me out of it but they don't really have a choice but to let me put them back up
DD has a family photo shoot booked for Sunday so she is hoping DGS will be recovered by then but I'm doubtful that he will be,hopefully he will rally over the weekendOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1201 -
Forgot to say I've set myself a target of two oranges and bananas a day,I managed it yesterday but today I have only had two oranges,it might be a coincidence but I feel sooooo much better I was feeling really run down last week,I must have needed the vitamin C
I got my second lot of oranges in Mr T and they are scrummyOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1201 -
Phew that was a busy day at work,I enjoy busy days though because the time goes quicker and before you know it your home again, my hours at work have been messed up since I changed them,I do two 12 hour shifts and one 7.5 hour shift and it turns out the computer programme that works out our hours has only been paying me for 7 hours instead of 7.5 so work owe me 5.5 hours,I won't get paid for this but can take the time back instead
It was payday today and my wages were not good,I'm not thinking about it over the weekend because I can't go through my paperwork while DD is around,I'm off on Monday so I'm going to go through my budget then just to make sure I've worked everything out properly,I'm then back on Wednesday so can tell my boss then that I need to put my hours back up,I just want to do a final check first to make sure I can't stay on my reduced hours
I have only had one orange today because one of the ones I took to work sort of exploded in the bottom of my bag,it smelled a bit weird so I chucked it away,I had to wipe my bag out as it was covered in orange juice,I also bought bananas and they are not very nice at all, they looked ok when I picked them up but they are now all mushy and bruised, this lot of fruit was from Mr S and I think it will be the last time I go there, the fruit from the frozen shop was so much better
I'm taking a trip to Mr M on Monday as I haven't been there for at least a year, the store has been revamped and is now bigger,I won't need loads of shopping but I want to check it out and see how long it takes me to get there and back on the bus, they have started doing online shopping but I'm not sure it's worth it just for me, I also need to fix my food budget,at the moment I allow £120 a month but I'm sure I can reduce this if I plan ahead, that also pays for pet food, but I've just bought a 20 kilo sack of chicken feed so that will last for quite a while seeing as I now only have two hens
Against my better judgement I'm off to the Swedish store tomorrow because DD needs a storage box, weekends in that particular store are not pleasant but I am planning in being in and out and I'm aiming for a NSD tomorrow so won't be buying anything at all
I am off to bed now because I feel like I might nod off in a bit, have a good weekend everyoneOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1201 -
I would have a word with customer services at Mr S about your unsatisfactory fruit, and give them a chance to put it right. They are usually quite good about these things. If you have any left, take them with you.0
