Does your house insurance cover food loss with the fridge? Ours once failed and we lost the contents of the freezer, but managed to claim.

What a lovely weekend! Shame about the fridge food but these things happen, and you had to avert either of you getting further sickness off it.
It was a lovely weekend. I'm just glad I never ate anything after I realised the door had been open 😊

It does but the food we lost wasn't worth more than the excess so not worth claiming 😊

I've had a busy day today. I thought it was going to be a wash out because I woke up in quite a lot of pain at 6am but I took my painkillers and went back to sleep until 9.30 and felt much better 🎉🎉
I went into town and took DDs things back, bought a present and card for my Dad for Father's Day, bought a new outside doormat for the back door and got some food shopping,I tried to buy salad but Sainsbury's had no lettuce  in stock which is very strange. I might start growing my own just in case there is a problem .

After lunch I went out and cut the front lawn plus tidied up the border at the bottom, it looks a lot better now but there are still some brambles to be cut down that are tangled up with my St  Johns Wort. I had to stop because I was running out of time 😊
I also hoovered the main parts of the house and did two loads of washing, plus gave the chickens a new fresh bed and took B for two walks

Tomorrow I'm going to be home all day so will be painting as much as possible, I have the third coat to do on wall three and the second coat on wall four then it's woodwork time 😁

It must be a Mr S thing with their fruit and veg. Ours had a few lettuce but not a single cucumber. I have complained to them in the past that unless you shop early in the day their stocks are dreadful. I am hoping that the rumours around here are true in that we are going to get an Aldi in the old Homebase shop which is being divided into 3, a B&M and food warehouse are definites. There are no small shops near me and a trip into town is made harder because the council have very kindly dug up the whole of the town centre so the bus stop is now much further away from the town. I cant even ask my dh to give me a lift because the only town centre car parks are all multi stories and our camper is too tall to go in any of them.
I am attempting a town trip today but not sure how it will go as  I cant walk far.

Our Morrison’s have really low stock too……I’ve never seen it as it is now.
You had a really productive day 👏👏👏 Happy painting day, take care not to do too much.

I have noticed this lately too but never as bad as today ,I would love a mr A to open near to me, we have two here but they are both too difficult to get to. It's definitely harder to sort shopping out if you don't have a car 😟
