You've been very busy & productive, OBL. The painting looks great - good colour.

It's looking really good, a very relaxing colour.

I think you're wise to wait a bit longer to continue, your arm won't thank you if you push it and you might not get as good a finish as you've already achieved. You seem to have done loads in the garden though! want to come and tackle mine? :)
Thanks Cherry. It's definitely growing on me. It sounds like I've done lots in my garden but it's so big I've barely made a dent in the jobs that need doing, it's going to keep me busy for weeks yet so I won't be free to do your Im afraid 😀

The painting is looking good. I daren’t put things back in place on any wall though until id completely finished as I’d splatter paint all over it. I’m impressed 👍 I think the pizza was well deserved. I need a parasol too…got to have some shade 👍
Im good at not getting paint everywhere apart from where it's intended and on myself,I haven't used any dust sheets in this room, it's big enough to be able to punch things right out of the way,the carpet is going so it doesn't matter if I get paint on that but I haven't yet 😀

I am determined to get my house and garden sorted out so that it runs more smoothly and I can then spend more time doing things I enjoy. I'm getting into a routine now with it and I'm trying to stop procrastinating so much,I never used to spend so much time just wasting time and it's got to stop,I'm on a roll now 😀

Got to work at 9 to start my shift today and my colleague told me I was supposed to be on a 7.30 until 3.30 today, turns out they had changed my shift but neglected to tell me, the funny thing is that no one tried to contact me to see why I hadn't bothered turning up for work at the right time,I think I could have taken the day off and no one would have noticed. It worked in my favour though because I asked if I could take the hour and a half as AL in the morning and still leave at 3.30 and they said don't worry just go at 3.30 because it was really quiet and there wasn't much to do 🎉🎉🎉 sometimes I love my job 😀
I came home and was going to cut the grass in the front garden but it decided to rain 😟 it was probably a good thing because I did have an absolute banging headache all day, it's gone now thought
We took B for her evening walk along the river tonight so she really enjoyed that. I've now got two days off but have plans so I'm not sure if I will get any painting done,I might aim to just do the third coat on the third wall and see how it goes. I'm itching to get it finished so I can start on the hall
Tomorrow afternoon I'm going to DD1s for a barbecue, she was meant to be going away but isn't now so is having a birthday barbecue instead. DD 2 is feeling blue after coming back from Edinburgh so we might go out for the day on Sunday to cheer her up.

Have had a lovely weekend in the sun. I went to my DDs barbecue on Saturday afternoon and had a lovely time,DGs 1 was really excited to see me and gave me the best cuddle ever, he's not normally a cuddly boy but he climbed in my lap and wrapped his arms round my neck then gave me a kiss. He kept mentioning that he had been to my house last Friday so I asked him if he had had a good time and he said he had 😀 he's such a funny little man 😍 DGs2 also homed in on me for a quick  cuddle which was lovely ,he is a very cuddly boy though, all the children had fun playing with water toys and the sand pit. It was sooo hot though so the water was welcome
Today me and DD2 got up early and went to our local garden centre for a mooch around. I took some money but didn't spend much,I bought some lemon drizzle cookies and a jar of Lemon curd 😍😍we also had lunch while we were there so i just had a sandwich for my tea
Im just waiting for some clothes to finish in the washing machine then Im off to bed. I'm dying the pair of trousers DD bought and didn't like so I've got two pairs in different colours if it works ,I also chucked a pair of my jeans in that had faded slightly so I'm hoping they will have been rejuvenated as well. Last time I did a dye in my machine it stained the door seal but this one is meant to be new and improved so we will see 🙀
Im working tomorrow a nice short 9-5 so will be home for the evening and then I have three days off
I need to go shopping on Tuesday morning because the fridge door didn't close properly on Friday so I had to chuck lots of food out. DD2 ate something from the fridge and was ill all night on Friday 🤢🤢 I was too scared to eat anything so chucked it all out 😟after I've been shopping it's painting time again 😁

What a lovely weekend! Shame about the fridge food but these things happen, and you had to avert either of you getting further sickness off it.
