Yes, I don't know what the initial cost is.  It is at least soothing, my friend certainly feels a lot better for a while afterwards

I've just had a Google, it looks like about£70 outlay. In normal times I'd suggest that you had a treatment at a therapist to see what you thought first.  🙄

Well I got up this morning with intentions of doing lots today but I've spent all afternoon in bed with a bad headache and facial pain, honestly someone needs to give me a break from this
I did take B out this morning along with DD which was nice, she is struggling with the situation we are in at the moment so thought it would be good to get outside. Her boss has taken her off the Covid wards next week to give her a break, she has been the only OT covering those wards since October for various reasons, so they are putting her on a clean ward for a bit,I suspect it won't last long because staff are dropping like flies
When we got back I had a cup of tea but my head was pounding so I went to bed for a couple  of hours. I've just been out and sorted the 🐓🐓 and I did notice it is still not dark yet 🎉🎉🎉 getting there but not quite which is a good sign

The online shopping order is coming tonight but not until between 10 and 11pm we ordered it for then to make sure I was home from work but didn't need to in the end, never mind though at least the shopping is done. I have also just been looking at veg boxes to have delivered but I'm not sure I would use it all up quick enough, our veg shop in town does some good boxes so I might give them a try, you can cancel at any time so are not tied in, they are shut while this is going on and are just doing delivery so I can't go into the actual shop anyway. I've been buying my fruit and veg in Mr S in town but I'm trying to think of ways to avoid going there so often. The other idea is to buy what I need on the way home from work in the smaller Mr S but it doesn't have as much choice,I will just have to try it and see what it's like

Veg boxes delivered might be a good idea in the short term. You could always make soup with any surplus. Is the headache/facial pain neuralgia? Mr SA is suffering from this at the moment. Sounds like you have a classic case of long COVID to be honest, I hope it’s not too long before you start making a proper recovery 🤗
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

Yes it's neuralgia 😫I was diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia several years ago and it was really bad for a year, they were suggesting surgery to cut a nerve in my face at one point but I decided not to go ahead because of the risk of either making it worse or facial paralysis , I've been lucky that it hasn't really bothered me for a long time, it's so painful though. I'm hoping I start to feel better before too long too

I do feel for you OBL. It’s no fun feeling constantly poorly.
I’m glad they’ve taken your dd off the COVID ward for a while....it must be sole destroying - it looks terrible when you see it on tv so I dread to think what is is in real life. Your walk out sounded lovely though. I haven’t ventured out today. A bit of a lazy one again 😊

OBL - My sister suffers from that condition (TN) so I know quite a bit about how horrible it is.
Hope you pick up soon, as this is just way too long to be poorly.

I was wondering about Riverford because they didn't come up in my search for some reason so I wondered if they were still doing them
