  • My mum goes to a group, she finds it better to keep her accountable and also the social side of it as well, which is good.
It'll be nice to get out with your friend. I enjoy just going somewhere different, not sure why, but it always feels nicer. x

It's lovely that you've got a two week holiday to look forward to it, I'm sure it will do you good and your plans sound very sensible :).
It's a good idea to get the tree checked out for your peace of mind.
I always keep my doors locked when I'm in the house, but then I grew up in London which is a bit of a crime hot spot 😱.
I'm sick to death of storms and I hope they blow over before I'm back at school next week or I'm going to have a lot of wet playtimes 🤬.

I can't wait for my holiday to get here now Hairy,I'm fed up with this weather too especially as it only seems to rain when I have to go out, I took the dog out earlier and it chucked it down but now I'm indoors the sun has come out, hopefully it will have blown over by next week 😊

I liked the social side of it too Nicnak,I begrudge spending the money each week though 😀

  • I didnt go into town today in the end,I just don't feel well enough so I've decided a nice day at home in the warm is what's needed, I took the dog out earlier and of course it rained but the sun has come out now so that's nice,I'm going to let the 🐓🐓out in a bit and their house will need cleaning out ,I like to pick up the poo every day that I'm not working and then I only have to change the sawdust completely about once a month,I top it up weekly though

Ive got a load of washing that's just finished so I need to hang that up,I was thinking about my tumble drier free winter the other day and it's been really good,I was worried about my first winter without a drier but it's been easy,I'm thinking spring and summer might be actually be more challenging because if it's rainy I can't hang the washing outside but i also won't have the heating on so things won't dry as quickly indoors,I will just have to hope for lots of dry sunny or windy days

I'm thinking I might do some sewing this afternoon if I don't fall asleep 😂

He should be ok. He lives in the house so is warm pretty much most of the time. His fave spot is under the radiator when it is on.
Awwwww… :) I'm not so worried about a house rabbit, I've heard they live longer. The one of ours who died wasn't a house rabbit and was terrified of company so she didn't even have another rabbit to cuddle up to. :( I love the image of yours sneaking under the radiator - are you sure you haven't got a cat there?!

It's always best to be safe than sorry,I always thought it would be ok because the dog would bark if there was anyone at the door, but the other night I came home from work let myself in and had taken my shoes and coat off and gone into the kitchen before she even came ambling down the stairs 🙄😀
Two weeks off is a wonderful idea! I have a colleague who books a week off every quarter: she works very hard and it helps her to have a guaranteed break. (I'm not that organised. :D )
I wonder if your dog knew it was you so she didn't make a fuss?

She looked very surprised to see someone in the kitchen when she came down,im wondering if her hearing isn't as good as it used to be so she didn't hear me come in 😀

Not sure. He is quite frightened of humans, but he does jump on the sofa for a cuddle when he is out, which is strange as he doesn't actually like me picking him up any other time. I do have a hutch outside for him, but haven't put him in it yet as I think it is too cold and windy x
