Phew,I've had a busy couple of days, Yesterday DD1 came round with the DGC, I was supposed to go to their house but my Son in law had a stomach bug and I can't risk catching that because I can't go to work then, both of the children are poorly with colds so I expect I will get one now,I've been sneezing all day today 😟 me and DGS1 had lots of fun playing with water, he loved just pouring it from one container to another, we also got some straws out to blow bubbles which he thought was hilarious, we did get the carpet a bit soggy but it's only water so not a massive problem, he also showed me that he can now recognise and read all the letters of the alphabet which is good going for a 2.5 year old 😀DGS 2 wasn't feeling too good but was quite chirpy for most of the day, he has been a totally different kettle of fish to his brother and has taken a long time to settle,I predict he is going to be into everything before long and not so easy to entertain as DGS1
Today I've been at work but only on a late, so I was able to have a lie in this morning,I was in a clinic all afternoon so that made a change, it was quite stressful though because the consultant is now using new voice recognition technology to dictate their notes straight onto a computer and it's having a few teething problems which added nearly an hour onto our clinic, it's not good when patients are kept waiting for that long
My hospital is going completely digital in June so it all needs to be sorted by then, we will no longer have any paper notes or charts so everything will be on computers, it's a massive change and we all have to trained to use the new system, I'm actually a bit surprised by myself with regards to this because I don't normally like change and worry about it but I'm quite excited by this and looking forward to seeing how it all works, if it works as well as they predict it will save us so much time and give patients a lot more access to their medical history than ever before, interesting times indeed, I think I'm looking forward to it because I'm bored with my job at the moment, hopefully it will be a change for the better
Tomorrow I'm off and so far don't have any solid plans,I might pop out for some bits of shopping and the ironing basket is full again and of course I have my sewing to be getting on with, the weather forecast isn't looking too good so I might just stay at home in the warm, I can hear that it's just started chucking it down again 🙄

We are being encouraged to do everything by computer where I work and not have paper records. It's a great idea in theory but our IT needs to be seriously upgraded for it to work in practice.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

I've had a very late start today because I was up until 4am last night🙀 I went to bed and fell asleep but then woke up again half an hour later, the wind and rain was horrendous and then a thunder storm rolled in to join the party, someone's car lights were flashing across the road so I couldn't get back to sleep,I got up and made a cup of tea and read my book in the end,I woke up this morning at 11am 🙀
I was thinking of going shopping because I do need some bits but I've decided not to go,I've got plenty of bits in the freezer I can eat so I'm not too worried,I noticed half a bag of frozen fruit in the freezer so I might make a crumble with that later for a treat ,I've managed to get two loads of washing done and I've done the ironing, the dogs been walked and the chickens have been cleaned out so I'm now going to do some sewing.
Its still raining and windy so definitely a day to stay at home in the warmOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,736 Owed = £10,8942 -
We've had rain showers today, but nothing stormy since the weekend. Seems very chilly though. I've lit the fire early & am ready to curl up with a book. However, that will have to wait until I've done a few more jobs.
Glad the 🐓🐓🐓 are sorted.

I love a new fresh duvet too.
The weather can't seem to make its mind up which is just confusing if you are trying to do anything. My freezer is full, but I couldn't tell you what is in there and what I can eat with it. I think I am going to make burgers and chips tonight for tea just to try and clear a little bit of space out of there. I need to start using things up. I know I have a huge bag of ice in there which isn't ideal as it takes up far too much room.
Have a lovely day x
