You're putting me to shame! I have pretty much come home, bath, tea and now I am I bed with my heated blanket. I sorted out little one, but we came and snuggled in my bed. The storm kept me up loads last night x
I have been at home nearly all day with nothing else to do while you've been at work,I put my brushed cotton duvet cover on the bed today so it will be snuggly when I go to bed 😊

We are being encouraged to do everything by computer where I work and not have paper records.  It's a great idea in theory but our IT needs to be seriously upgraded for it to work in practice.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)

The NHS trust that I work for are having a completely new system set up,it's taken a couple of years to get to this point, we are now at the point where we can all start to be trained which is a massive undertaking for 8,000 staff🙀they are starting with the consultants and working their way down to the nursing staff then HCAs but we all need to be trained by the end of June when it goes live, it will be interesting times indeed

  • I've had a very late start today because I was up until 4am last night🙀 I went to bed and fell asleep but then woke up again half an hour later, the wind and rain was horrendous and then a thunder storm rolled in to join the party, someone's car lights were flashing across the road so I couldn't get back to sleep,I got up and made a cup of tea and read my book in the end,I woke up this morning at 11am 🙀

I was thinking of going shopping because I do need some bits but I've decided not to go,I've got plenty of bits in the freezer I can eat so I'm not too worried,I noticed half a bag of frozen fruit in the freezer so I might make a crumble with that later for a treat ,I've managed to get two loads of washing done and I've done the ironing, the dogs been walked and the chickens have been cleaned out so I'm now going to do some sewing.
Its still raining and windy so definitely a day to stay at home in the warm

We've had rain showers today, but nothing stormy since the weekend. Seems very chilly though. I've lit the fire early & am ready to curl up with a book. However, that will have to wait until I've done a few more jobs.
    Glad the 🐓🐓🐓 are sorted.

  • I love a new fresh duvet too.
The weather can't seem to make its mind up which is just confusing if you are trying to do anything. My freezer is full, but I couldn't tell you what is in there and what I can eat with it. I think I am going to make burgers and chips tonight for tea just to try and clear a little bit of space out of there. I need to start using things up. I know I have a huge bag of ice in there which isn't ideal as it takes up far too much room.
    Have a lovely day x
