That's an interesting option, OBL, re the park home potential. It's always good to have options in mind, isn't it?

  • That sounds like a perfect option and at least it has set your mind at ease as a way forward should you want to do that in the future. Do you have to move out of them for a few months though? I might be thinking of caravan homes and getting them mixed up. x

You don't have to move out of residential parks, all the ones I've looked at are permanent residencies, some of them are over 50s only and there are some where you aren't allowed pets, you also have to check how much the site fees are because they can vary a lot

  • Well today turned. Into a rubbish waste of money, I felt ill last night with an upset stomach but wasn't sick so I decided to go to work this morning anyway,I have to get a taxi on Sundays because there aren't any buses until after 9am which is too late,I got to work and started to feel awful,I was there for 2 hours and then I had to come home,I spent the day in bed until 4.30,I don't feel sick now and wasn't actually ill in the end but I feel horrible, my chest is still bad and all my joints are hurting and I have had a headache all day,I've spent the evening on the settee catching up on diaries
Its my day off tomorrow so I am staying at home all day,I do have things to do but will see how I feel in the morning ,the housework will have to wait if I still feel like this,I've had this for 10 days now and it's getting on my nerves

Im really annoyed about work because I've now missed out on my unsocial pay for a Sunday and I've shelled out £10 on a taxi to get there,I should have just stayed at home in the first place 😡

  • Woke up this morning feeling more normal than yesterday,I don't know what that was all about, obviously I've still go an awful cough but I can cope with that and I'm sure it will go away at some point

Im off today and staying at home because the house badly needs tidying,I haven't done anything but washing for the last few days because of feeling ill but I think I can get things done today

Im also planning on making a banana bread later as I have bananas to use up and would rather eat them in a cake than in their raw state 😂

I also need to to some banking later, it's payday on Thursday and I did have some spare cash in my account this month,I want to move it to my savings before payday so it doesn't get swallowed up in my next months budget,I'm not sure how I've ended up with spare cash and it always worries me, but I have checked and rechecked and everyone has been paid,I think I must have just go my sums wrong when I worked my money out,I have to admit maths is not my strong point 🙀

Tomorrow it's my turn to go to DD1s house and we will take the DGC to the local playgroup in the morning then we will go back to her house for the afternoon

Right I had better get a move on and get started with some of these jobs,I've just noticed it's actually stopped raining so a good time to nip out with the rubbish bins

Sorry to read you've been so poorly over the weekend but good news that you're feeling more normal today. The downsizing to a residential park sounds like a good option to bear in mind, no point rattling around in a big house all by yourself.
