Good news about the meds and oil having a positive effect on your dog :)

Sorry to hear you feel unwell. Mr SA has flu at the moment and I think it's doing the rounds unfortunately. I don't feel 100% myself.

Love the hen stories, they are real characters. Many years ago we stayed in a villa in Greece and we were invaded every day by hens and turkeys from a local farm. I even had a hen sitting on my knee at one point :)

Thanks SA,I hope you and Mr SA are now feeling better, my old chickens used to sit on my lap but the ones I've got at the moment don't,I didn't spend enough time with them when I first got them so they are a bit shy

Good to hear you are recovering, it sounds totally miserable. How is your DD now?

I'm getting my flu jab soon: someone at work is organising them for us. A colleague's daughter just had a very serious chest infection and was blue-lighted to hospital and I don't want to be the channel for anything like that getting passed to someone more vulnerable, however resilient I feel myself to be. :(

Hi everyone, I'm sorry I've been awol again I'm still having episodes of depression and due to not doing much I didn't have anything to write about

I'm now trying to just get on with things despite feeling horrible in the hope it might cheer me up

Today me and DD2 were meant to go out to our local garden centre for a wander round the shop,I love going now because they have all the Christmas decorations out and although I don't buy any I do like to look at them, anyway we didn't end up going because it was pouring with torrential rain this morning,we have to walk to our local train station to catch a bus to this garden centre, it's a 20 minute walk which we didn't want to do in the rain, so we didn't go which made me sad because I was really looking forward to it,hopefully we will get to go another day, I did get all thenironing done though

I've just had 5 days off work which were a mix of days off and annual leave and I haven't done anything nice, just been stuck at home,I wanted to do some bits in the garden but it's rained most of the time so I haven't been able to do any of it

I've got tomorrow off then I'm back on the work treadmill on Monday

  • Yuk to the treadmill.

Sorry you haven't been feeling great still, and being stuck in probably hasn't helped either. The rain has been really depressing I hope it clears up soon.

It's the remembrance parade tomorrow and I hope it is dry for at least the morning.x

  • It's really good to have you back OBL :).

I'm sorry you've been feeling depressed again. I think this awful rainy weather and dark evenings don't help. I've been feeling quite down lately and I'm sure it's got a lot to do with the weather.

I like looking at Christmas stuff too :). Perhaps you can go the garden centre tomorrow? Our weather is going to be better tomorrow.
