I've had a very productive day today,we took the dog down along the river and she really enjoyed herself,we decided to check out the local pet store that I thought was closed on a sunday and it was actually open so we didn't have to go all the way to the big superstore in the end,I've now got a bag of chicken food and will order a big sack to arrive on my next Friday off, which will be then 1st of February, the last bag I ordered lasted for ages so I'm keen to do that again

We came home and had lunch while watching an episode of Marie Kondo, then I went and cleaned out the chickens and let them out to have a run round the garden, they had some meal worms which they go mad for so that stopped them complaining for 5 minutes

I have also tidied and polished my bedroom today, while I was in there I bagged up 4 pairs of fluffy pjs I no longer wear plus some candle holders and a random decorative tin and a bowl from the window that used to hold pot pouri ,I also got rid of a load of receipts I don't need,so my bedroom looks lovely now, I am going to go through my clothes at some point but I didnt have time today, still have a drawer full of bits and bobs to sort out and get rid of but that will take too much time for today so I will do that another time,I'm happy now that if you walk into my room it looks perfectly tidy
I don't really want to move onto another space properly until I have completely finished the spare room which I'm hoping to finish sometime next week, most of the stuff has gone out of that room, there are some odd bits on the bed and the bed needs dismantling and moving and then I can put the cot up to leave in there

I'm just having a coffee before cooking my tea,I'm really fancying sausage and mash so will have that tonight,I'm going to do extra so I've got some to take to work tomorrow for lunch

Possibly I can't remember now,but that sounds familiar,it said to take it with food and I don't think I ate enough because I felt really sick,I was ok once I ate something, the side effects listed were awful, one of them was loss of hair,I've been checking for a bald patch ever since I stopped taking it:rotfl:

It was Nitrofurantoin or Microbid is the brand name,I found the box in the recycling :)

There the ones that caused my allergic reaction and hospital visit. I've had them a few times before and they've always been fine. X

I always read the leaflet that come with them and the possible side effects with this drug are fairly scarey,my infection has gone now so they did work but I didn't like them at all:(

That's the problem I have, there are things to get rid of in every room and I have had to try not to move to another room before I finish the spare room

  • That's really lovely of your mum to give you that money and a very good idea to put it in your emergency fund for peace of mind :T. Our oven has gone wrong and we have no money to fix it at the moment, so you won't have that problem now you have an emergency fund. How nice to have photos of your brother with you and your sister too :).

Well done on the decluttering :T. I'm feeling motivated to do some but I need to sort out some PPI claims first, but I will get around too it in time.
