Hi Nicnak,I feel sooo much better this evening so I think the antibiotics have done the trick, they were different from the ones I've taken before so I only had to take them for three days, they did make me feel a bit sick but so long as they have worked it's worth itOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1200 -

How are you feeling today ?
Me too,I have a few hobbies that I enjoy and I'm hoping to send a lot more time enjoying them than I did last year,I've got quite a lot to do with the house because it needs decorating but I quite enjoy that too so I'm looking forward to itOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1201 -
What a lovely day it was today, the weather was a bit chilly but the sun was shining and when I was in the sun it was lovely and warm,I walked into town to meet my mum and I had to take my coat off halfway there
Mum was in good spirits today and we had quite a laugh, something amazing also happened but it's a bit of a story
My uncle Bill died last year,he was my Dads brother and my Dad is set to inherit a substantial amount of money from the estate, anyway he got an interim payment last week of £30,000,he gave £5000 of it to my mum and today she gave me £1000 of that money
I told her I couldn't accept it but she was adamant that she wanted me to have it,I'm so shocked as to me that is a lot of money, I am going to pay it into my savings account as soon as I go into town on Tuesday,I'm thinking it will stay in the emergency fund account for anything that crops up
I did toy with the idea of paying off a lump of one of my debts but im not sure if thats wise,my logical brain is saying to save it just in case,as my emergency fund is still quite small
I welcome peoples views on this
The other lovely thing that happened was that Mum has been sorting out her photos and she gave me two albums of photos one is of me and my sister and brother as children,my brother was killed when he was 20 and I don't have any photos of him so it's lovely to see them and the other has loads of photos of mine and my sisters children when they were small, there is one in particular of my eldest DD toddling up the garden when she was the same age as my DGS now and it looks like a photo of him, they are so alike it's uncanny
In other news I didn't report back the other day but I did go and declutter some more bits from the spare room,I cleared under the bed so there is nothing under there now, there was an underbed drawer full of stuff but it's all gone in the recycling and the drawer is back in my room under my bed which is where it came from in the first place,I have my shoes in there on one side and some of our board games and my important paper work file in the other, much tidier and easy to get to than them just being under the bed,the drawer is on wheels so I can just pull it out now
I'm planning on cleaning and tidying my bedroom tomorrow if I have time because there are a few things in there that can go,if I bag them up tomorrow I can take them to the charity shop at work on Monday morning:j
I've got to go out to get chicken food first though so we are both going and taking the dog as it's a good hours walk along the river for her, killing two birds with one stoneOriginal Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1201 -

I would put it in emergency savings to bring that up to £1000.as you are on a DMP which will take a long time to clear you could start a F and F fund to clear the debt faster. I think I would treat yourself too as long as you don't go mad
