Looking to buy a new executive company car

Hi,
I am in the market to look for a brand new executive company car and will be looking to finance. I do have disposable monies to pay in cash, but want would to invest else hence the (n my view) more flexible finance route. I want something fairly sporty, comfortable, swift and has a bit of luxury. I only want a petrol, so have narrowed my choices to either the Jaguar XE-S, Kia Stinger GT-S or the BMW 340i M Sport. The Kia may look a bit odd compared to the other two cars mentioned but it has raving reviews and also has a cheaper asking price by quite a margin.
The Kia is a good £5k cheaper, comes with a 7 year warranty but I expect it to depreciate more quickly than the Jag and BMW. The Jag looks interesting with its all aluminium chassis and would be nice to have a car that isn't as common as the BMW, although for that matter the Kia would be even more rare! The face lifted BMW, appears to have very positive reviews but it also seems to be the more 'sporty' and 'hard edged' than the other two, which is something I am not sure I want.
Does anyone have any experience that they could kindly share?

The KIA might have a lower list price, but the discounts available on a BMW will more than offset that.
Finance deals will be better on the BMW too.
Also the KIA - whilst getting good reviews i dont think anyone thinks it comprehensively outguns a 340i as an all rounder.
Personally, i'd drive all 3 and see what you think.
Use https://www.broadspeed.com and https://www.drivethedeal.co.uk as quick references for discounts avail.0 -
Forty grand on a Kia. :rotfl:0

The Kia looks good IMO - I'd be seriously tempted. BMWs are over rated anyway.0

It looks as if the 340i M Sport is perhaps the best 'drivers' car but I can't get over having a car as common as chips. The Jag is the most expensive car out of the three and I can't really see a good reason why it's more expensive than the BMW.
The reliability and warranty of the Kia looks extremely tempting but I have concerns over its depreciation. Any thoughts on the Lexus IS200T?0 -
I wouldn't call the 3 series BMW an executive car it is a very nice car but if i was spending forty grand i would go for a 5 series lots of really nice delivery mileage 540i X drive five series for forty grand

...Jaguar XE-S, Kia Stinger GT-S or the BMW 340i M Sport....
The biggest issue that Kia face is that they have a very wide range, from cheapies to an increasing range of decent top-end kit (Sorento, Stinger, etc). This makes it hard for top-end models to be seen as worthy competitors.
But its only a car, not a lifetime commitment. I have no brand loyalty - I've owned BMW, Saab, Toyota, Mazda, Peugeot, Ford, Vauxhall, Landrover, Honda, Subaru, Mitsubishi, and now a Kia Sorento. Very happy with the Kia - the top-end models are starting to become very good.
The best drive was the BMW (a 330) but that was also the car that spent most time back at the dealers with issues. It was also the only car where I extended the lease and kept it for an extra year.0 -
Wouldnt exactly call those choices 'executive cars'. Dont think the Kia will give you the impression you want. BMW 3 series is one of the commonest cars on the road and very popular with a certain demographic (one of the reasons i got rid of mine). The Jag is a bit rarer but i heard a lot of people dont seem that impressed with the new petrol engines. Sorry. Not been much help. You thought of a Merc? Bit rarer than the BMW but more reliable than the Jag and pretty cars too these days.0
