Buyer is re-selling my item and has copied my listing and my photos!

If you change the photo, or use another one, it will display in the advert as long as the filename you've given it is identical to the original. So just take the old photo off and upload a new, altered, one! Enjoy!

Can I just say that my dog does have a very nice bottom.....

I've just right-clicked her photos (that are my photos) and they have a different website address thingy (URL?) to mine (mine come up with my photobucket album link). Does that mean it wouldn't work?

I think that she should of asked your permission to use your photo to resell the item. However, I don't think there's anything wrong in reselling your item. Afterall it is theirs to do with what they wish. Maybe she didn't like your item and decided to resell it. If she makes more on the item than you did then that's life. You win some, you lose some.

I personally would of emailed the buyer pointing out that its not that you mind them reselling the item but it would of been nice if they had asked permission to reuse your material.

Ok seems I'm on my own here-

does it really matter in case like this, ( I could understand if you are still selling a number of these items ) but its just a piccy and description of something that they now own. Why reinvent the wheel, using it does not cause you a loss.

AFAIK, it's perfectly alright to use your own photos in your listings, so you shouldn't get in trouble. I use http://www.auctionpix.co.uk/ to host my photos for free and that is endorsed by ebay.

Yes, you automatically have copyright on any photo you take.

What is the issue with another selling using the same photograph? Is that not someone just using some initiative and saving time and money?

Is it worth all the effort reporting them etc, etc, etc???
