Just had a digger there this morning but it's a stab in the dark as to where in the 40 metre length of pipe that's 1 metre deep in the ground, the kink/obstruction is, just hope we don't have to dig the entire length up.
Got wood burner fitters on site today which is one nice thing. Also got the roofer on as a couple of slates fell off. Plumber back to fix leaky toilet, hopefully electrician and joiner finishing second fix today and the ground source heat pump engineers hopefully coming today as well. So it's all go on site today.
Starting to think it will be April before we're in.
Oh my that sounds stressful. Keeping everything crossed that you find the obstruction quicklyhOM

Hello. Can I declare 21/16 for the month, 2/5 for the SNC and 21/183 for the year please?
I'm still doing okay on this challenge I've set myself. My fear is what to do on 1st February.
I'm still of the mind that I don't want to give up alcohol completely, but not sure how to find the happy medium.
What I am finding is that I am sooo bored on the weekends. I even went up to bed before my daughters on Saturday to read a book. I'm finding time drags. I've heard that you have so much more time to do the stuff you never get around to, but I'm just finding that I'm still incredibly lazy, just bored with it.
I'm not saying I want to go back to drinking, I think I just need to find something else to do.
I can't go out much due to my children, but that has never bothered me before (presumably because a bottle of wine kept me company).Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010

Pollyanna... I am totally with you on the boredom! I'm very lazy and now I seem to just sit doing nothing half the time, not even watching telly, just sitting here!Say what you mean.. mean what you say... without being mean.0

I was really lazy yesterday,, it today feel better and ready to chuck out more clutter !!:money: I will never be rich but I'm happy :rotfl:0

Years ago I used to smoke ,,, from the age of 16 I was a heavy smoker
Smoked through 2 pregnancy ( not proud of that )
I tried anything and everything to give up ,,,
Patches , gum ,tablets , theory , councilng, inhalotor,,, the lot , every new year I’d give up ,,,then failed ,,,,
And about 9 years ago I did it ,,, I don’t know how or why it was different, but it was ( my mindset ) and I’ve never even thought of having once since ,,,,
Been through divorce , bereavement, house move and still never even a thought for smoking ,,, but as a smoker I would have been on 60+ a day at such stressful times,,,
What I’m trying to say is when you have really made your mind up and moved on ,the need for the addiction or the drug is not there,,,
The thought of smoking now fill me with STRESS cost , smell and so on,,,
I hoping I will feel the same about booze soon ,
Sorry if I ramble on ,,, it’s all in my self brainwashing,,,,,!:money: I will never be rich but I'm happy :rotfl:0 -
That could be the title of our thread!:T
There's something about posting on here that has a gentle accountability. There's no criticism but somehow making the commitment helps hugely.
ThisI'm declaring now that February is going to be a very low AF score for me. One of my aims when cutting down was to drink socially and on holidays but not to excess and not to drink on 'normal' evenings at home just because I could. Looking at next month there are very few 'normal' days.
So I'm going to give January and March my best shot to try and offset the balance.:D
Same here Maman, I'm away in Feb, going to do my best but it won't be the normal number of AFDs I think. I did work out a good way of not drinking while on holiday last time I was away but I'm catching up a lot with friends too and am not especially going to aim to make those days AFDs. It's okay I reckon, not every month will be that way!0
