    Hello all !
I was part of your family a couple of years ago ,,,,,, did well ,,, but I have to admit I’ve slipped not only back in my old habits , but worse than ever.
I am a binge drinker ,,,, a big binge drinker, and I don’t like myself being that way ,
I’m sure my drinking did have an impact on my marriage, and that ended 7 years ago, I’m now in a fairly new relationship and happy , but I can see my new man almost shocked with me when I’m on a session,,,, I don’t want to loose him , and I’ve noticed my kids have mentioned my drinking a few times lately ,,,,,,
So I’ve had a talking to my self and decided to give up the booze ,,,TOTALLY ,,, it’s no good me trying to cut down , it’s making me depressed , sad, moody I look 10 years older and need to do something about it ,,,,,
I’m going to a soft drink person from now on ,,,,,,,,,,, I will not miss anything about booze
    Hangovers
    Arguments
    Falling over
    Falling asleep
    Depression
    Failed marriage
I COULD GO ON FOR AGES ,,,,,
I will have a clear head , clear skin and my life back ,,,,,,
    10 // 20
:money: I will never be rich but I'm happy :rotfl:

I also have a lot to keep me occupied,, I’m moving home , I have started a new business, alongside my job ,,,, so I need a clear head and no more wasting money on booze that can go to better use !!

Maggie M ,, I know what you mean about no wine in the house ,,, I have so much vodka, gin and countless other spirits all sitting there,, I never drink them ,, but bring a bottle of wine in my house and it’s gone down my greedy neck in no time !
An open bottle is an empty bottle
When I do drink I do not have a stop switch ,, and drink until I fall over or fall sleep,,,
There I’ve said it ,,, it’s not a pretty sight , and one I will no longer be !

Popping in to call 21/31, thank you very much Shaggy.

I'm just the same with a bottle of wine, lovesale. Spirits, I'm surrounded by them (OH likes a whisky occasionally, I would sometimes have a gin) - some of the bottles look ancient and highly dubious - mainly liqueurs, (I really don't like them at all). But, open a bottle of wine and if the OH didn't nab his couple of glasses I could drink three quarters, no problem. I'm looking to change my home drinking habits.

I'll be routing for you loveasale!

Welcome back LoveASale - you're on the monthly challenge list.
What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.
