  • That is so impressive Rab, and a testament to your planning and determination. I'm feeling a bit down about my current job and skills, it's given me a boost to start looking at my career plan in a different light. Not that anyone would let me near train controls given that I can't tell left from right :rotfl:
  • 8/25 for me today, 5/5 and 1/2 if poss, ta!
  • Well done Fatrab and bood luck next week AnnieG.

I joined in with the drinking at my team Christmas lunch but left before 9 and feel ok this morning but a bit lazy! No embarrassing moments caused by me!

Out last night and had a mocktail. This was the first time (after 70 nights without a drink) that I didn't feel I was missing out when out for a meal without alcohol. I don't know if this will continue. But I haven't ruled out drinking on Xmas Day (it helps get me through a day with my mum :rotfl:), not sure about NYE.

BUT sleeping remains a problem. I know usually it's the opposite and people report they sleep better and longer. But I am struggling to get off to sleep when I never have before, also I am waking early. I don't feel tired during the day, so it's not posing a real problem, but it would be nice to hit the pillow and go straight off like I used to. Does anyone have any suggestions?
