Cutting Down Alcohol Thread

Hi all,
1/5 for tonight please. I am on Berroca. Woohoo
22/30 for November. I had a few blips.
December. Going to say 20 because I might have some blips too. Also tomorrow is testing D DAY! (I feel like I need star wars music here).
In terms of how to manage with not drinking. I am finding some of the non alcoholic stuff quite ok. Putting it in a wine glass helps too. Just gives that sense of being able to drink.
My other alternative is going to be at 8pm and watching TV. I can not be bothered getting back up again.
Tonight I have done a fitness class. My legs are so painful that I have managed to crawl up the stairs and that's where I am staying. Even if I could drink alcohol, I would not go back down those stairs for love nor money. The prospect of getting back up them isn't worth it.September 2017 Debt = £25330
Starting afresh.
You can do anything if you put your mind to it. x0 -
Oh Nicnak! I hope your aches are better tomorrow. Try and get hold of some Epsom salts and have a hot bath with a cupful in, it really does help.
I got to a spin class this evening, no job news sadly, but I did have the offer of another interview so there's still hope!
I believe I'm now on 15/21 for November. I lost count! No booze today though Say what you mean.. mean what you say... without being mean.0 -
I managed 5/5 last week on the SNC and will aim for the same this week.
My target for this year was 183, but a few blips along the way and I won’t make it. But I am up to 147 and seeing as last year was 150, I should at least beat that.
Can I please put down 183 for 2019 and I might (you never know!) might just start joining in the monthly challenges from January onwards. Too scared to call for December, but going to aim for some days of not drinking when I don’t have work the next day, haha.Pink Sproglettes born 2008 and 2010

NicNak, that’s one way notto drink any booze. Good luck tomorrow
6/10 for me tonight. Doing my bit with a low target that I won’t achieve. Not missing target, setting a low bar to encourage others as they won’t be on the bottom!0 -
12/14 and 1SNC please.
I'm also glad there is a range of cutting out and reducing. Think I might give up reading and/or posting if everyone was aiming for 30 days this month. It seems to me to be about what's good for you rather than only one correct solution. Hurray for differences.0 -
If you're being more mindful of your drinking it's a massive help, however many AF days you are aiming for.
Personally I find it easier to decide not to drink rather than to decide when to have a few, I'm not sure I trust myself to stop! But we are all different
