Back, still in debt, probably depressed (Take 2)

I think you're right Beanielou, he is a major part of the problem. He's now got a big problem with my parents, he started again last night, shouting, calling them all sorts of names and says they have no right to judge him ( they haven't, they tried to diffuse a situation where he got so drunk and wrecked a celebration and tried to distract LO). Told him I'm fed up of his moods and his reply was to ask whether I wound him up deliberately!! LO and I would (not financially) be better off without him. I know that. I just don't think he would go quietly at all. He swings from normal to moaning about everything to downright scary and he still thinks he's not in the wrong. He's been spending money like it's going out of fashion on some clothes and a pile of useless stuff. Fed up. My debt busting has fallen by the wayside I need to update my totals, not made much of a dent this month. Feeling a bit better, but not brilliant. Made another sale, £10. He's at work so catching up with washing, ironing etc.CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J0

I'm not surprised you can't focus on debt busting at the moment. I don't think anyone could. Are you sure you would not be better off financially without him?
The problem with children is that the more they see of a certain kind of behaviour the more they see it as normal. If we are lucky they rebel against it, but if we are unlucky they follow the pattern as they know nothing else.
You are so lucky that you have parents that are willing to help you shield your LO from his behaviour.0 -
Also not surprised that you cant foccus on debt busting.

I'm sorry to hear of your situation, Uniscot and I would reiterate what RhiBi says - we are here for you. However, I think badmemory is also right and you must consider the effect of your relationship on your LO. Otherwise she is going to grow up thinking that the way your OH behaves is normal.
The relationship doesn't seem to be doing you any good either, you're worn out trying to keep everything together, and from your posts, he seems to be doing everything he can to demean you and sap your self-confidence. You don't seem happy to me.
I think you have some serious thinking to do.Sealed Pot Challenge no 035.

Sorry if you've already said but could he have any mental health issues like bipolar for example? You can't change him unfortunately so if it is unbearable then you'll have to make plans that may not completely include him even if financially it would be difficult for a while. Sending you hugs x0

Just popping in to hope that you and LO are OK and to send hugs.
