Happy new ironing board! My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

You are a naughty lot. Cherry if we went in October it would be early October, half term is late October this year. Once November hits I start getting out of holiday mode and thinking about Christmas.
Anyway still considering it
The new ironing board is a bit disappointing. I shouldn't have gone for the cheapest one, it's very rickety. Oh well. This is the trouble when you don't have a car and have to buy things like this online.
The pond is almost done, he's finishing it tomorrow. One of the fish is pregnant! They've had babies before but they eat them if you don't separate them.
Hope everyone is well xxI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I think all this enthusiasm shows they all want to go to Lanzarote, and this is really a call for you to arrange a group booking (for which you will naturally receive commission). How about an MSE meet-up in the sun? :rotfl:
I have a further money-saving idea for you (in case I haven't persuaded you either to start a tour or to switch to October): how about booking for after Christmas? If you paid now you would still have it to look forward to, and it would liven up that slump once all the decorations are put away.

Happy Friday
Cherry we used to go to Lanzarote every January but it's so hard to come back to winter here plus you can't guarantee the flight won't be cancelled because of snow here. It really is October or nothing. October in Lanzarote is amazing, On the plus side for January it was fab to look forward to a holiday straight after Christmas when everyone was going back to work.
Took the cat to the vets tonight. £110!!!! Plus £8 in taxi fares. Still she's got her vaccinations done, 6 month's worth of Advocate, worm treatment and some cream for her flea allergy. Bad news is she has a decayed tooth, more expense!! I've joined the monthly thing where you pay £9.99 a month and it covers vaccinations and flea treatment and 10% off other treatments. Interestingly the vet rates Advantage flea stuff which you can buy online quite cheaply. He reckons almost as good as Advocate. I was going to enquire about moving the dog to this vets but had forgotten just how slow they are.
Tomorrow the plan is to go to WW then I've got the hairdressers at lunchtime, just a cut and blow dry. The afternoon will all be about sunbathing while Mr SA watches the footballI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

Then there's the dental treatment to come  Officially DD's cat but she has nothing to do with her. The cat is all for me and doesn't acknowledge DD. Apart from the bad tooth she's in good nick for an 8 year old cat apparently. Felt so sorry for a woman in there with her cat - had to be put to sleep, she was in bits - been there
Overheard her bill £300

Eek, those animals of yours need to go and get a job
. I hope the tooth decay can be sorted easily. So sad about the other lady's cat though.
