One thing I forgot, I went to the loo at the garden centre and when I got back Mr SA was being looked after by two elderly ladies who’d discovered him wandering about lost. He’d just forgotten where he left his scooter 🙄 Honestly I can’t leave him for 5 minutes.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

Well, @Sun_Addict, you've really got me fancying a garden centre visit now!
You've certainly put the steps in during your week off.

Glad you've had a good day. Had to laugh at the bag though mate, been into town earlier in the week and bought a bag in a !!!!!! garden centre sign of !!!!!! old age creeping in there ha.
I'll play and take a guess at the garden centre being Brookfields?

How did you get your plants home , were they not heavy or did mrSA have space on his scooter. You’ll be putting a tracker on him lol.Yeh don’t think many people go to the garden centre for plants and come back with a handbag . Nice wee treat for you. Sounds like you’ve had a nice staycation.5

All sounds good SA. I bought a handbag too, bit naughty but it is green, arriving tomorrow.
And Winterwarrior my dogs do the same thing, drives me MENTAL.Nevertheless she persisted.5 -
Even if you have already got a blue bag you needed a blue bag with an amazing strap too.my cats seem to sleep for 22 hours a day - 1 of the hours they are awake for is around 3am when they really need to indulge in a ritual of washing, purring (v loudly) and padding the bed near my feet. The other hour they are awake is usually split between morning and evening when they eat 😻5

I used to hate going to garden centres, couldn’t think of a more boring place to go apart from B&Q, but since they started selling a whole host of other things they are certainly a lot more interesting. Still hate going in DIY shops though.I’m quite fussy about bags, I looked at a lot of bags in town but nothing stood out. The one in the garden centre caught my eye straightaway plus there was 25% off. We managed to fit the plants on Mr SA’s scooter - just. I keep saying he needs to get a trailer for it 😆 Your guess is right @alt80.Needless to say my legs are a bit stiff today 😆
DS and GKs are coming today. Need to get DS to move the treadmill out of the spare room ready for the plasterer. The other stuff isn’t that heavy so can wait until next weekend, don’t want to live with clutter any longer than necessary.I’ll need to go to the local shops this morning just for a few bits. The dog woke me up at 4.30 being sick, thankfully only a tiny bit. Then I had to let her out into the garden. The mornings are a lot darker now, it doesn’t seem 5 minutes since it was light at this time. Went back to bed and ended up with the cat on my pillow purring and giving me a head massage with her claws. This made the dog jealous and she started whimpering for attention. How I got back to sleep I don’t know. Mr SA was fast asleep totally oblivious to all this.
In true Saturday tradition the fizz is already chilling in the fridge for tonight 🥂
Have a good one ☺️I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
The garden centre trip sounded very productive. Enjoy the time with your family. I can’t believe it’s a week since you couldn’t get to see them because of the rubbish weather. That week has gone so quickly.
