Love the bag SANST #10 Steps 7K 2/30 10K 2/12 5 a day 3/30 NSD 0/20

Well the NSD was soon scuppered. I get emails from QVC when the brands I buy are on Today’s Special Value and today’s was the 1000ml SBC body wash, 1000ml body lotion, face serum and moisturiser for £40 half price. I love the body wash and gel and have just run out, they must’ve known 🤣 I did hesitate in the knowledge that it would spoil my NSD but decided it was cutting off my nose to spite my face so ordered. I get my Liz Earle, Molton Brown, Skechers and Ninjas from QVC when they’re on TSV, so much cheaper than anywhere else. I don’t sit there watching it on TV by the way, they just email me and I order on the app, they know what I like 😆
Watched a WW live batch cooking Zoom thing earlier then took the dog for a walk.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3 -
A glimmer of hope to anyone who is going through problems with their teens - my DS was an absolute pain when he hit 15, completely ruled by his hormones, he caused many an argument between Mr SA and I and a lot of bad atmosphere in the house. I was more chilled saying he’ll grow out of it, Mr SA was completely intolerant, it was a total nightmare. The upshot is he has been giving Mr SA gardening advice and is an avid watcher of Gardeners World, his hero being Monty Don. They grow up eventually, I think I won my argument it just took a long time 🤣🤣I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

Good to hear your ds has been giving gardening advice to Mr SA. It’s so true that most of them turn into lovely adults after all the grumpy, argumentative years 👍January spends - £587.583

Thank you for that teen story SA...I will hold onto that ...I seem to have had hormonal teens for a long time and still a way to go😊.paydbx2025 #26 £890/£5000 . Mortgage start £148k June 23 - now £138k.

Happy Monday 😊
A tad busy with work this morning, lots of emails banked up from last week and my usual Monday morning stats. The kitchen tap is driving me nuts. It’s dripping quite badly now and making a screeching noise. I’ll be glad when it’s replaced next week.Went for a run this morning, back on it again 💪 Dog walking at lunchtime then a yoga session after work.
Cleaning is the kitchen and dining room. Need to do a meal plan for the week, will probably have the last portion of veggie lasagne from the freezer with some salad. Making butternut squash soup for lunch. It’s good to get back into a routine to be honest, went a bit adrift last week. Really need to look at finances, didn’t bother last week.Today will be NSD 5 of August definitely not spending anything today.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
Happy Tuesday, what a miserable rainy morning so far, although a glimmer of brightness is breaking through as I type.
Went for a soggy walk first thing, we had run out of bread and Mr SA wasn’t prepared to wait until the Mr M delivery arrived for his morning toast so off to Mr Ts I went. Not complaining as it got me some exercise and fresh air before I started work. The Mr M delivery had a few missing items this week but nothing that can’t be picked up elsewhere.I’m glad I didn’t pick this week to take off work as the weather was much better last week, I was very lucky. Fingers crossed when I’m off again next week the weather will be ok as I’ve got a few outdoor jobs on the list.
Apart from working, I need to clean the bathroom, walk the dog and find a HIIT workout on You Tube for later. Should be a quiet day work wise, it’s August everyone seems to be on leave.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
The QVC order arrived this morning, that was quick after only ordering on Sunday!Have been very MSE and exchanged my club card vouchers for 12 months BBC Good Food subscription. I often buy this magazine but hesitate when I see the cover price so all it’s cost me is some of my points 😁 My cc is the Tesco one so the points build up quite quickly especially as, at the moment, I’m spending more in Tesco than I did pre pandemic. In work news we will be expected to go back to the office for one day a week at the end of September. Will increase as guidelines around social distancing change. I’ve opted for 2 days in the office 3 WFH once things are back to normal. Will give me the best of both worlds that way.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6
