Sun_Addict said:I don’t plan to go into work until I have to. It’s a lot of faff- one to one with manager and loads of forms to fill in. No one else on my team fancies it either. I would most likely be sat in a half empty office and not recognise anyone.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.5

Great that you found books in the charity shop. I've been a bit uninspired for book choices recently but I'm optimistic about my latest. It's by Anthony Horowitz and I've enjoyed other books by him.
Like you, I've always loved reading. As a child I enjoyed all the Enid Blyton books - The Twins at St Clare's and Mallory Towers. Also the Little House on the Prairie series.Had to smile at Mr SA's concerns at a threatened beer shortage.6 -
So sad about the person getting rid of all the pets.
Cockerpoos are such lovely dogs too. I hope it finds a home and the kids can still get to spend time with it.
I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

So sad about the dog. Ours is a bit antisocial with most other dogs as well. There is no way we could introduce another dog into our house while we have him.
It is disappointing when people just give up on animals and give them away.4 -
Happy Monday
Went for a run this morning, it was only going to be a fast walk as I didn't feel much like running, but then I saw two people I know so started running, not to get away from them, just so they'd be impressed 🤣🤣 I doubt they were 😆
Have booked Friday off work and the second week in August 😁 No idea what I'm going to do with the time off but it will be great not to have to log on to work.
Mr SA has taken the dog out on his scooter so it's nice and quiet at the moment. I'll take her for a proper walk at lunchtime.
Two loads of washing on as it looks like the last dry day for a while. Cleaning is kitchen day today. Portion of veggie lasagne rescued from the freezer for tonight's dinner, will have with salad.
Today will be NSD 13/15 of July, I'll probably make 14 in total for the month.
That's my Monday, not very exciting I'm afraid 😐

It doesn’t sound too bad for a Monday……especially the run. Bet they were impressed 😄January spends - £587.584

Mr SA has suggested we go to the coast on the train for the day and take the dog. Apparently he will take his Zimmer frame and walk about with that. Pointed out it takes him forever to get from A to B with it at home. He said he would just keep sitting down on benches. What could possibly go wrong 😱Not happening I’m afraid, don’t even want to think about it.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

It’s a nice idea……but like you say….what could go wrong. I presume he wouldn’t be able to use an ordinary wheelchair for the day so you could go in the train.January spends - £587.584

He’s too heavy for me to push otherwise a wheelchair would be fine. He weighs around 11 stones more than me and is a foot taller. I’m only little 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4
