Happy Monday, here we go again another fresh week 😎
I haven't been for a run or a walk this morning, my ankle is still a bit sore. Will take the dog out later see how I go.
It will be NSD 6/15 today IF the milk lasts until tomorrow - touch and go 😆 I don't use it so it's down to Mr SA and DD. Seriously thinking about watering it down, I wonder if they'd notice 🤔
Should be a fairly quiet working day, got a few bits to catch up with so hoping it is.
Going to make a start on sorting out the recipe folder today, throw away any that I know I won't bother making. Also need to do a meal plan for the coming week.
I also need to look at finances, there should be a bit left over from last week's budget.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
Lost track of the NSDs and have already done 6/15. So today might be 7/15.
Had a £12.23 underspend last week, £10 has gone towards the Ninja first instalment and £2.23 to the Christmas pot.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
Happy Tuesday
Back to my morning walk today, ankle is fine after resting it yesterday. Dog walking at lunchtime and Cardio Kickboxing after work.Mr M shop delivered, loads of missing items and subs this week after they seemed to be improving which is disappointing. The little cafe/bar at the end of my road has had to close for 10 days because a staff member tested positive for Covid. Glad I didn’t go in there last week, I nearly did, I’d probably have to self isolate now. What a nightmare it just seems never ending.Trying a new recipe tonight - Moroccan Aubergine Stew. Will make 2 portions and have the other for lunch tomorrow.
I’ve booked Friday off work 🥳🥂 No plans for the day yet but the weather forecast looks good ☀️I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
The stock in our Morrison’s is very hit and miss. Lots of empty spaces on the shelves and things being shuffles around to fill the gaps so I’m not surprised you had things missing.
The walk sounded lovely but pleased that you rested that ankle afterwards.January spends - £587.585 -
I wonder if it's a general supply 'thing'? We don't have a Morries but there's been a persistent lack of several favourites in the big Mr T. Sometimes there's a sign to say more is expected next week (the dates have been changing regularly since May, so they have noticed the the gap!) but sometimes other stock is moved to cover the space.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. Happy hump day
Back to running this morning did slightly under 5k. Lovely sunny morning.Wednesday is usually a NSD but I’m at the hairdressers this afternoon. All budgeted for though 🙂
Cleaning is the bedroom. Going to take advantage of the good weather and get lots of washing done.Need to look in the fridge/freezer/cupboards to see what needs using up for tonight’s dinner. The cat is being a pain, keeps jumping up on my desk.
Have shuffled £8.22 into the Christmas pot, now stands at £419.49.Must get a quote for replastering/painting the spare room. Would be good to get it done.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8 -
