Those miniatures soon sold out, thought they would.

The new bed is so comfortable, didn’t want to get up this morning 😆 The new sheets are coming today so that’s the bedroom finished. Really pleased with it. Hit my target of by the end of June. Will post pictures later. 

I need to go to the local shops today, the usual bread, paper, toilet rolls. I can’t believe how many toilet rolls we get through. 

DS and the GKs are coming later today. 

Making butternut squash dhal for dinner tonight, my favourite 😋 Making Mr SA beef madras in the slow cooker. 

I’m thinking about getting the spare bedroom re-plastered and decorated. It’s only a small room so shouldn’t cost too much. It desperately needs doing, the walls are a mess since I stripped the wallpaper off, took half the plaster with it.

Loo rolls - have you thought of having them delivered? I think there are a few companies who do this now, aside from supermarkets. I get them from a company whose name is partly an anagram of 'carp'. Added bonus in that they dedicate some of their profits to building toilets in countries where the sanitation is less than ours. They are also extra long rolls, though they fit on standard holders (it's the tube that's narrower).

Re Mr SA - I think it might be time to ask his sister to take him for a couple of weeks. Seriously.

I bulk buy my loo rolls too. Presto, which is Amazon own brand, not the cheapest, but just as good as cushelle, which I used to use and so much easier having 5 packs of 9 delivered to the door every few months. I do the same for kitchen roll too.

I order from The Good Roll.  They are based in the Netherlands and they use European paper in their recycling so I prefer that to the Chinese recycled paper as it consumes recycled paper here.   They also do lovely wrapped rolls that are wrapped by people in supported employment so I feel its really virtuous.  It does mean we order 48 at a time thanks to Brexit so I have a big box stored away!
