The bed is here and set up. We put the headboard on ourselves it's 54 inches high and weighs a ton so was a little awkward to say the least. Mr SA is no help whatsoever he gets in the way more than anything. It seems to be comfortable, I'll let you know if I get a good night's sleep on it. Mind you I can sleep anywhere, comfortable or not, so probably not the best judge 😆
GD's birthday presents have also arrived, just got to wrap them up. One of the dolls she asked for has a removable prosthetic leg 🤣
Holiday wise, no way I'm going anywhere until things have settled down. Mr SA said why don't we go to Ibiza for your birthday like we were supposed to last year. I tried to make him understand the implications of finding somewhere to take a Covid test before you return home, what if it was positive, what would happen if Ibiza got put on the amber list while we were there, we'd have to self isolate for 10 days. It's alright for him he doesn't have to do all the sorting things out, it's all down to me. Not worth the stress. The thing is these countries are so desperate for us to go there they seem to be overlooking the fact the UK is rife with the Delta variant right now, I'm hearing of more and more people with it. I'm going to keep putting money away just in case things change, you never know we might be able to go to Lanzarote September or October time, not holding my breath though.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -

I have told my maw that if she even thinks about going abroad anytime soon I am disowning her!!I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. I love it that your maw still goes abroad @beanielou 😆 GD also has a doll in a wheelchair because of her grandad (Mr SA) and one with a cast on her leg as a nod towards me - anyone would think I made a habit of it 🤣🤣
DS has finally had his first vaccination despite being called up some time ago. He was being weird about it for some reason, anyone would think he’s just had a major operation 😆 He’s never been good with medical things.
Had a bit of a meltdown with Mr SA earlier, I bought a lemon scented candle that smells gorgeous but he doesn’t like it. He won’t let me light it. It was a bit like waving a red flag to a bull. I’m afraid I outpoured all the resentment at having to mop up after him, how much I hate living like this etc. It was the straw that broke the camel’s back basically. He said no need to take it out on me if you’ve had a bad day at work, which I hadn’t 🤬 Told him to ring his sister to see if she’ll have him. Needless to say the lemon candle is now lit. Still cross though 😡 It’s almost 38 years since I met him. I finished with him after 3 weeks because he was so difficult to get on with. His friend persuaded me to talk to him because he was upset. I said I’d talk to him but there was no way I’d go back out with him. Goodness knows what happened after that 🤣

I think you are a bit like me you bottle things up and then blow a fuse my hubby is the same dammed hard work I know mr SA has worse health problems than my hubby but sometimes it’s all give and no take they are selfish sods and that’s been polite5

I’m not surprised you snapped…..think he’s been pushing his luck for a while. Hopefully it might make him think a bit. I hope it does 🤞 The lemon candle sounds lovely. I prefer citrus fragrances more than anything else. I used to love orangey soaps from Av@n - not sure if they still do them.January spends - £587.585

I’ve heard good reports about the Aldi candles. Got to admit I don’t often use candles I’m a bit paranoid about them being a fire risk……think my mum scared me off them 😏January spends - £587.584
