I've read your diary for several years and agree that Mr SA has done well. You take great care of him and are very patient and indulgent. Some of the stories you tell are very funny though!6

I think we'd all buy a copy!
Seriously, it's great he's still going strong and that you don't have any concerns at present. I think you're in it for the long haul so may I pre-order vol 2 of your book?I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

He was given up to 10 years to live after the transplant and is almost on year 8. He seems fine at the moment so we just take each day as it comes. The dog was a bit off again earlier and refusing her food. She was sick but it was just phlegm. She was perfectly ok running on the park at lunchtime but was eating grass on the way back. I cooked her some chicken in the steamer which she devoured, so she was hungry. Annoyed that she is turning her nose up at £8.95 a box breakfast biscuits. There’s me having porridge or a slice of toast for my breakfast and she’s refusing posh breakfast biscuits 🤣 The cat has had a go at them though, at least she’s a good eater 😆
Didn’t get my catching up with things day work wise. Ended up dealing with an ad hoc unusual request that put an end to that plan. Oh well 😕 Never a dull moment where I work 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)10 -
Hope your dog is feeling better this morning?
Ours grazes on grass all the time. It never makes him sick. We queried it with the vet when we got him and he said that some dogs do just enjoy the taste of grass.
Honestly with the amount of it he eats sometimes you would think he never gets fed at home 🙃4 -
All 3 of our dogs eat grass, 1 prefers it cut and going mouldy :, 1 likes mud with his grass and the third just likes fox/cat poo with hers. I really do have a revolting lot of dogs.7

Happy Saturday 🥂
My dog is very particular which grass she eats, it has to be the long tough grass and she’ll root around until she’s found the perfect blade 😆 She was ok after she ate the chicken and was begging for scraps, she was even after my veggie lasagne. The cooking smells must’ve sparked her appetite.Need to go to the local shops for bread rolls and a paper. Went to the freezer to get some stewing beef out for Mr SA’s curry tonight only to find I don’t have any, so that’s been added to the list. I’m trying a new recipe for my curry - all in one prawn and lentil curry with pickled red onions. Also making some naan breads from flour and yoghurt. Also need to catch up on the cleaning and walk the dog, will probably end up on the park across the road if the weather is rubbish. I seem to spend my weekends cooking, cleaning and walking the dog.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)9 -
We have made the yoghurt dough flat breads before. They are very tasty.7
