Glad your Mr M delivery arrived SA xx

I can’t believe how foggy it is here, what a contrast to yesterday.Ended up being rather spendy today what with the Mr M delivery, then Mr SA deciding he desperately needed some new gloves (thankfully found a pair for £5.99 on eBay). We’d also run out of wild bird seed so ordered from Amazon along with the dog’s breakfast biscuits. Tomorrow needs to be a NSD.
Have had one of those days work wise where I just couldn’t get on with what I wanted to do. What a day 😩I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -

Hadn't seen that Cpt Tom had passed away. Bless him. So sad 😞
I have also had one of those days where hardly anything work wise has got done. Everytime I have started a job the phone has rung. Very annoying.
Foggy here as well now. Very glum. The snow is quickly melting though. Should be gone by morning.5 -
Very sad to hear Cpt Tom has died also.
My son cried when wife told him, he's ok now but was obsessed with Cpt Tom over Lockdown 1 cost me a few quid lol.5 -
I feel sad about Colonel Tom too - he became a talisman for the nation in the first lockdown. A shame that we couldn't keep him safe from COVID. But what a legacy. I know that a lot of psychological support for NHS and care staff has been paid for out of his fundraising so real help when people doing the caring need it most.7

Had a wee greet about Captain Tom. Fly high.

Happy hump day 😎
Hoping for a more productive day today, work wise, got very little done yesterday, kept getting ad-hoc email requests that required a lot of digging for information.
Today should be NSD 2 of February. I'm on a mission to get that £1500 overpayment done by the end of this month, then I can start on putting money away to clear the next £1500 overpayment after 1 August.
Today's doings are Joe's PE, a 5k treadmill run, dog walking and cleaning the bathroom. Still doing my Spanish every day, it's been almost a year now, getting quite in depth with the grammar now but still enjoying it. Tonight's dinner is a stir fry with bits of left over veg.
Thinking about trying a fruit and veg box next week, there's a local firm does them for quite reasonable prices £10 for small, £15 for family size and £20 for monster size plus £2 delivery charge. You can tailor the box too if there's something you don't want in it. I used to have a weekly organic veg a few years ago but they used to put in a lot of unusual things I ended up not using. The local box is all everyday stuff you'd pick up yourself.
Have a good day everyone 😊
