it's it's bitter cold her as well SA and there is snow on the hills , but very refreshing. As for the litter , we have a very active litter picking group where I live and I can't believe how much stuff they collect . No excuses though when they were sat next to a bin.Your meal for tonight sounds delicious , enjoy Sunday .Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.7

There’s a litter picking group here too but they say they can’t do it because of COVID 🙄 It’s not like you’re going to catch anything from picking up litter that’s been there for days if you’ve got gloves on or use a picker.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

4.30 with the dog😳😳 hope you managed to get back to sleep. I had a lazy morning watching last weeks country file in bed. I’d just got out of the bath when dd phoned to chat with the girls....she was quite taken aback when I said I was just getting dressed. It was 10.30 - they’d been up since 5.30 as littlest one had had a nightmare and was awake for the day. Made me feel very lazy ☺️
The litter in some of our parks is bad....others not so bad. We have a skatepark at one of the parks and the kids on it is unbelievable. It was closed last time but hasn’t shut this lockdown.January spends - £587.586 -
Litter isn't generally too bad where we are. If it wasn't for the morons throwing McDonald's wrappers out of car windows there would be very little litter.
Luckily most people here will pick up any litter that is lying around and put it in the bins provided.6 -
It's mainly young lads that drop the litter round here, they are attracted by the park and obviously don't give a damn about leaving their litter on the floor. They'll get over it one day when they realise it's not as rebellious as they think it is! At least they're not stabbing each other like in some places.
Finances are done and I've managed to hit my target of a £31.22 underspend. £1.22 has gone to my Christmas pot and £30 has gone to the re-mortgage overpayment pot.
Totals w/e 7 February:
Windows £5585.00
Mortgage £15,394.17
Re-mortgage £7,537.81
Emergency fund £5250.00 - £50 sent today
Christmas £88.71 £1.92 sent today
House £1000.00
Regular Saver £2000.00
Windows payments February to June £777.10
Re-mortgage overpayment £1280.00 £30 sent today
Holidays £1200.00
As soon as the re-mortgage overpayment pot hits £1500 I'll send it over. Aiming for end of February. Then I can make a start on the £1500 overpayment I can make after 1 August.
I've made a batch of carrot, coriander and butterbean soup for a few work lunches next week, I needed to use up some carrots and coriander. Enough for 3 days anyway.
Will be shortly taking the dog on the park again armed with an empty carrier bag for any rogue litter. I'm on a one woman mission to keep it tidy. Then I'm going to come back and shampoo the hall carpet, do my nails, start tonight's dinner and have a bath and a face pack with a glass of prosecco left from last night.

well done on picking up the litter. Our local duck pond has become the place for families to meet up to chat and drink coffee (in spite of lockdown rules). It annoys me that although the litter bins are full to the brim they leave their paper coffee cups and other litter on the floor in the vicinity of the bin. Surely they could just take it home and actually put it in a bin 🤐7

Every time I go to our local forest I take a carrier bag and pick up litter on my way round makes my blood boil sheer laziness if you can carry it there full you can take it home empty and don’t get me started on dog poo bags hanging off trees 🤬7

I pick up litter here every day. We're unlucky enough to have a lane which runs behind the house and is used for a short cut. People seem to think that it's OK to throw their rubbish over the fence. I find, as well, that it's not helped by people not disposing of their household rubbish properly in the communal bin stores and it blowing about everywhere.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.6

Three times this week I have had to pick someone else's dog poo off our front garden. It is disgusting and out of order.
If I find out who it is they will be getting it posted through their letter box 😡7
