Morning all, happy hump day 😎
The new door is being put in today. They did a really good job yesterday and cleaned and hoovered up after themselves, you wouldn't know they'd been. The company get excellent reviews and I can see why. At least Mr SA will be back in the living room today because the door is on the side of the house. He's getting fed up of having to get up 'early' at 8am, it's wearing him out 😆
Today will be NSD 14. Exercise is upper body HIIT and walking the dog. All the snow has gone so the pavements are safe again. Cleaning will just be putting back the cupboard in the hall and a general tidy/hoover round. I'm going to catch up with the cleaning properly on Friday when I'm off work. Tonight's dinner is Harissa orzo again (this has been a staple for the last couple of weeks but is delicious and made all in one pan). Mr SA liked his Dijon Pork yesterday but I don't think he was overjoyed with it, bit too foreign for him. He's requested Pukka Pie and chips tonight which is more his sort of thing 🤣

A bit too foreign. He does make me laugh6

When Mr SA lived with his mum, when I first met him, she used to cook the family pie or pork chops, mash and peas every bloomin' day. The peas would be boiling away in a pan for ages. I remember his brother asking her if she'd got shares in a pea factory 🤣 Having said that my mum wasn't the best of cooks either, if it didn't come ready made from M&S she wasn't interested 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

We know plenty of people who still eat a very bland diet or the same meal each day of the week. That would drive us mad!6

Glad to hear your windows are in and that the company did a good job cleaning up after themselves. 👍
I had to laugh when you said about the cat being a pain wanting to go through the closed door. 😂 That's just cats for you isn't it? They are twisted, one of my cats (Big cat) likes to sit next to a closed door and miaow until you open it for him, then he just sits there and doesn't move. 🤷♀️ 😂 If you close the door he starts miaowing again. 🤦♀️ I think he just does it for fun.
